We took a day trip to Whitehaven Beach. We all absolutely loved it. Beautiful white squeaky sand. Crystal clear water. Unbelievable views. Picture perfect. We had great fun paddle boarding. The best day

Southern end of Whitehaven Beach, where most your operators will bring tourists. Great vibe, atmosphere and stunning views. Saw rays, turtles, stunning boats, seaplanes, helicopters and great snorkeling.

Absolutely beautiful idyllic beach; 7km long, on a Fury boat tour with excellent food, silica sand that was still stuck to me the next day!

One of the beast beaches in the world. We went here on a day trip with Zig Zag. Would highly recommend both Whitehaven Beach and the Zig Zag tour company.

Words and pictures cannot fully express the amazing nature of this place. This is by far the best and most remarkable beach I've ever visited in my life. The sand is white and soft and cool unlike the other beaches surrounding Queensland, and the water and various boats combine to make for some truly incredible photos and memories. I 100% recommend this place to anyone traveling from Australia to far north Queensland, or anyone in Australia fortunate enough to travel to Airlie Beach and the Whitsundays! 😁🙌⛱💯

Even though Whitehaven is voted the second best beach in the world I think it’s the best as it is fairly untouched, unspoiled and still so very natural but the best part is at Hills Inlet the turquoise water is a live with sea life.
We have been many times but pulling up on a boat that we chartered from Abel Point Marina for 2 weeks and sailed all around the islands in the Whitsunday’s but the best couple of nights was at Whitehaven when in the afternoon you get the whole beach to yourself.
The best way to see the Great Barrier Reef, Hills Inlet , Whitehaven Beach and all the islands is by Helicopter it is so worth the money.

I can tick this one off the bucket list. Whitehaven Beach is currently the 2nd best beach in the world. I'm not a beach lover or sun worshipper but we decided to take a helicopter flight to the beach. I was awestruck. The natural beauty of the area was mind-blowing and the beach itself was amazing. The primarily silica sand doesn't get hotter than 28°C so it's very comfortable to walk on and sit on. The water is so clear and the temperature just right. We swam and enjoyed this delightful paradise for 2 hours and it ranks as two of the best hours in my life...not bad for a sun, surf and sand hater.
If you get the opportunity to visit Whitehaven Beach, take it. You won't regret it.

A nice place to pitch a tent in one of the worlds most spectacular locations. Wake up to a tranquil turquoise bay before the hustle and bustle of the day boats. A nice reef to snorkel just 50m off the beach. Toilet facilities great for a remote location.

Great place for a relaxing half day. Pristine Sand that never gets hot! Lay about, have a walk and enjoy what the wonderful Whitsundays has to offer. We continually visit this place and never get sick of swimming with the sting rays and lemon sharks. The pristine clear water isn't bad either.

One of the most beautiful places on earth, for sure! 7km of pure natural beach with white sands and crystal clear water! We took a plane to take us to the Great Bareer Reef and then land on the Whitehaven Beach for about 2 hours of swimming and sun bathing. Expensive? Yes. Well worth the money? Absolutly. Will I go back again? Cannot wait!
We went there in late August, no flies, warm water and clear sky (25°). I will definitely go back around the same time.

Very beautiful beach, it’s a must see attraction. If the tour can provide some beach umbrellas, it will be perfect.

This will easily be the gratest beach in the world. Not only has it that beautiful white sand and is 7 k long but it also is situated on an island (Whitsunday Island) in the National Park of the same name and thus is surrounded by nature only. Should definitely be on the top of your bucket list when traveling Queensland. Except you have your own boat, you'll need to do a tour to get ther, yet still worth it.

This is a paradise indeed. We, together with my partner, visited the whitehaven beach as part of our great barrier reef tour and we regretted not having had more time on this beautiful place. Sand is incredibly white and soft and water as clear as crystal. If you are planning to go, make sure you stay enough to make the most of it.

One of the best beaches in Australia. Made out of the highest percentage of silica in the world. 98%!! This is great because it makes the sand Insanely white and it also reflects the sun instead of absorbs, which causes the sand to stay nice and cool so you don't burn your feed during the day. It is a amazing please which you can only visit by boat or float plane. The best way to experience it is by taking a overnight sailing tour departing from Airlie Beach. They will take you around the whitsundays and Hook island to go snorkeling, and to the beach.

It’s worth a visit. Wait last minute and swing by the hostels. When boats don’t fill up they drop the prices. I booked though a travel agent and spent about $100 more than if I waited for a last minute deal. Enjoy!

It's one of the most peaceful and angelic beach i have ever been to. If there's no stingers i would have swum in there all day long.
