Whitsunday Islands National Park

The water is so clean, clear and takes 10 min walk with steps (not that’s bad) to see a beautiful ocean view and a bottle tree with two babies string fishes. It was a nice day to visit the Whitsunday Islands.

Just beautiful! We took ferry tour, however I think a flight over this beautiful spot would be worth splurging. Just to see the white sand and the clear blue water. Tips: May was a bit too cold. And make sure to take something for sea sickness. Our ride there was quite choppy. Enjoy the white sand beach where the treasure chest scene of Pirates of the Caribbean movie was filmed.

Totally fall in love with whiteheaven beach … it paradise … more nice when there’s no turist there . Cause the beach is full since 10:00 until 4.00 .. all the turist are all over the place .. highly recommended to anchorage in the next bay .. if you can be in a private boat 🛥 . The water is so clean .. there’s no garbage around . A lot of fish … the sand is white , the air is clean … you will feel really in heaven . Thanks so much to Australian national parks for taking care of all the Amazon places in this beautiful land . Australia 🇦🇺❤

Amazing, check the tides before going if possible

One of the most beautiful places I have visited in Queensland. There are so many islands to visit and some excellent fishing trips to make here. It is the third most photographed places in Australia and when you are there you will understand why. I will certainly return here probably with my own boat or hire a big catamaran to sail around the islands.

Amazing, just go there at least once in your life, trust me it worth it. Good snorkeling, dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, eagles, beautiful islands and white sand. Don't forget your sunglasses!

Incredible place with amazing views to take in. The scuba diving isn’t as great as Great Barrier Reef but nonetheless it’s a beautiful place and well worth the catamaran boat trip!

@elise.plus.3 of the most beautiful places in Australia. If you're visiting the area I highly recommend cruise whitsundays. They offer a great range of tours. Whitehaven beach is a must see for all WS visitors.

Heaven on earth, this should be on everyone's bucket list. Blue as far as the eye can see, white soft sand beaches...I have never seen anything as beautiful as this island till date

Visit to Whitehaven sands was breath taking, for any one wanting something unique this is the place, take lots of sun screen and water just to be on the safe side, half a day should be enough for a family, with our crew providing beach activities including volley ball, beach cricket. But if you want just wander down the beach, you’ll soon find a quiet spot. The beach took a good lashing after cyclone Debbie smashed through, probably loosing 6m of beach frontage, but it’s starting to recover nicely.

Simply beautiful. Make sure you spend most of your time on a boat as there's not much to do on land

Beautiful part of the world - would recommend everyone to have at least a day trip around the major islands if they can't stay longer

They do a great job.

Inlet lookout was a bit of a hike specially in the hot weather but the view was amazing and the walk through Betty's Beach to feel the white fine sand on your feet which is the same as Whitehaven Beach was worthwhile!

A huge area you'll need a boat to get to. Big efforts give big rewards, explore the islands and the bags, take your tender to the beach for a picnic and explore.
