Dr Paul McEniery treated my difficult hand fracture recently and provided me with wonderful care. His diagnosis, treatment plan and follow up were first rate. His communication was clear and his manner and approach calm and thoughtful. In my experience, Dr McEniery is an excellent, highly skilled medical professional who I would see again and thoroughly recommend to anyone.

I was fortunate to have Dr McEniery treat both my son and I! Dr McEniery is a gifted surgeon. He is kind and explained things clearly so I knew what would happen in surgery and what to expect with my recovery. (Great sense of humour too!) Have had a great result and am pain free and couldn't be happier. 100% would recommend him.

Four and a half hours of Dr McEniery's surgical expertise changed the rest of my life! I was attacked and mauled by a 2 meter shark sustaining significant injury to my wrist and right hand, not pretty. Dr McEniery is a master. 4 months after being air-lifted off Fraser Island, I now have a fully functional hand and minimal visible evidence of the injury beyond superficial scaring. A professional in every respect. absolutely recommended if results count for you. One note to the negative - take responsibility for your own recovery. recovery takes time, go hard and succeed.

Big shout out to Travis from Hands-on Therapy. The dynamic Duo.

Dr Paul McEniery treated me for an injury on both of my hands in 2018. I found him to be extremely professional and caring at all times. I consider myself fortunate to have him in my corner. Great surgeon. M.Mancuso.

I had a reverse shoulder replacement operation in late January 2022 by Dr Paul McEniery, i am in my mid 60's, it is now late May 2022 I am pain free and working with a great physiotherapist,I cannot say enough about this Doctor I would recommend him to anyone who has joint pain, he knew exactly what was needed to be done,so that I can live a normal painfree life.

Very unhappy with the treatment I received. Dr Paul McEniery ripped my cast off with his bare hands like opening a coconut less than a week after having a complicated fracture on my limb which was very uncomfortable and painful. He is difficult to talk to and does not really seem to have an affinity to care about patients as much as I thought a medical professional would, and my injury made next to no progress during my consultations with him. After being discharged from him, I got a second opinion from another Orthopedic surgeon who has actually given me a proper treatment plan and I am finally getting use of my limb again. I would not go back.
The reception desk lady at Dr Paul McEniery's office was incredibly nice, always lovely each time I spoke to her and she does a very good job. Unfortunately I don't feel the same way about my experience with Dr Paul McEniery himself.

Consulted with this surgeon for a relatively simple dislocated thumb that after several weeks was non functional, unable to flex or use at all. He basically dismissed my concerns. All he can manage was an MRI. Even then could not get him to even report on. Only after several calls to reception did he bother to report via phone. Basically dismissed me and my non functional thumb.
Consulted a second surgeon who was immediately concerned about my completely dysfunctional thumb. Surgery two days later and a positive result. Hand Therapist attended in hospital to splint and commence rehabilitation. Over the next 12 weeks I regained virtually full function.
No thanks to Dr McInery. I found him difficult to converse with and felt little care for my seemingly little issue. We have thumbs for a reason. Hands are compromised when they don’t work. Not being able to use a hand for daily living tasks is a problem.

No star at all score but needed to mark one to post. Maybe I just caught him on a not so good day.
