I stumbled over this place out of nowhere. The location is brilliant on the corner of the Chinatown street. The service was impeccable. The food was completely astonishing. The manager made sure that my brisket egg noodle soup was perfect and told me a bit more about what they do and how. Definetely added to the experience. In fact, I ended up returning 2 days later craving for their asian fusion quality cuisine knowing that the price was also very affordable. The second time was even better, the staff recognized me, I had an incredible bbq pork noodles soup and the portion was fantastic. I order some prawns that came with stylish decorations and amazing taste. The manager brought me extra soup before I even needed to ask. Would recommend this place to everyone passing through or living in Brisbane.

We decided to try the new restaurant in Fortitude Valley called The Rice Place. It is definitely worth going, the dishes we ordered were Thai Green Curry with chicken and Combination Laksa, Chicken Fried Rice and some cucumber salad, Thai Fish Cakes and Satay Chicken Sticks. Well every dish was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant. The prices are fare and the service is great. Thanks, we will be back soon.

Very good and affordable place in the FVal. We had the Chinese soup which was delightful. Also mixed meats and veggies stir fry and set pan. The options here are endless. Very large menu with lots of combinations. Rice, noodles (of all sorts) thin, thick, rice, egg, etc..

There is space for indoor seating. The table service is very quick, they deliver the food with a short waiting time ☺.

The place has affordable delicious food. We had all of this for less than $40 aud.

Best special friend rice in Brisbane! Wonton soup is delicious with real ingredients you can actually taste the chunks of pork & prawn in the wontons. Peking pork with pineapple is succulent. The place doesn't have amazing ambience, but it's not that kind of place, go for the food and a quiet place the chat. highly recommend.

Chose Woka Woka as it was close to the place we were staying.

Ordered: fried chow mein noodles with chicken & vegetables, and chicken and corn soup.

Really liked both items I ordered. Service was helpful and food came out pretty quickly.

I love everything here, food are amazing, the staff is friendly and the price also make sense!. I have never been to Hong Kong before but after I try random food from the menu, everything was delicious!

This place is packed with delicious food to choose from. Location is very convenient right in the heart of Chinatown in fortitude valley. Price wise is not too expensive for quantity they have offered. Recommended to try.

Amazing variety of delicious food. Great large serving sizes and food value for money. The staff are lovely and the service is top-notch. Language is not an issue and there are numbers on the menu if you get stuck. I saw a review about the staff having poor English and I think this is very silly because the staff understood us well and the menu is also in English. I highly recommend this place. We went in our trackies and had an awesome dinner. Everything we ordered was perfect and every dish that went past also looked delicious

Can only speak from my one experience dining in, not take away, so can’t comment on the not-full-containers. Food was good. Noodles were a big portion. It’s ready when it’s ready and comes out when it’s ready. Food was tasty, so not sure what the other reviews were referring do. We did cop the “extra $3/per meal” when paying, and there was also a $1.69 surcharge for paying eftpos, but we were eating pretty late.
Yeah, tables were dirty and you had to ask for cutlery but what do you expect, they were really busy before we got there and this isn’t fine dining and you’re not paying fine dining prices. You can clearly see this before you order so it’s fair to say you know what you’re going to get. It’s no fuss dining. I enjoyed and would return.

The food here is always yum! Especially enjoy the Chinese western baked mixed vegetables in cream sauce on rice. Great fusion food!

Another visit, braise beef curry is so delicious, must try.
