We had the pleasure of celebrating a birthday at Melrose. From the moment we stepped inside until we departed, the staff greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. They even placed a charming happy birthday plaque on our table to add an extra touch of celebration. The shared meals were perfectly portioned, and the menu was thoughtfully designed to accommodate those with dairy and gluten intolerances. The staff attentively inquired about any dietary restrictions or allergies and assisted us in navigating the menu. To cap off the meal, they presented a lovely dessert adorned with a candle and sang Happy Birthday. As we let, every staff member, including the chefs, said goodnight. The impeccable service, delectable cuisine, and inviting atmosphere ensured a memorable and enjoyable evening.

One of our new favourite restaurants in Brisbane. Great value for money (actually FULL by the end of the meal) with such great quality food and service. Would recommend the $79 chef banquet and sit back and enjoy the meal.

It does get cold in the evening with the open windows and roof. Bring a jumper!

Delicious food which was presented absolutely beautifully, coupled with great service. It was my friends bday and they brought out a dessert with a candle and helped me sing her happy birthday. Very well recommended!

Great place to chill with friends, decent food. The waitress gave us a glass of ice in boiling summer day, pretty thoughtful. we went there on Sunday avro and got Sunday surcharges, which is fair.

Popped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Our drinks waiter knew her wines and was happy to allow us to taste a couple of options before we made our bottle selection (the French blanc de blanc). Our table afforded us a view of the open kitchen (helping in the selection of our dishes). We ordered the oysters with nahm Jim sauce which were so fresh and tasty. The pork belly bao buns were delicious. The kingfish crude was light, fresh and were paired with perfectly crisp tapioca crackers. The highlight was the crispy pork hock which was cooked to perfection, the accompanying sauce was worthy of bathing in and the pickled vegetables moorish we paired this with perfectly cooked coconut rice and a side of crispy enoki mushrooms. Add in a lovely March Brisbane day and you have a great day out. Will add this to our list of favourite local restaurants

Another must-try restaurant in Brisbane that serves an amazing variety of fusion dishes! The dishes were well priced and the portion sizes were great. The atmosphere is very nice and they open the roof in the evenings so keep that in mind if that's something you like! The staff were very friendly and you will definitely feel very welcomed! You can make your booking online through their website and do it a little earlier because they can get booked out!
Overall we had an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend Melrose restaurant! 🙌

I recently tried a banquet from the pan asian menu and the quality of ingredients, the flavours and presentation were so impressive. The staff were friendly and attentive, shout out to Benya for taking such great care of us! Dishes I'd recommend are the caramelised pork and peanut rolls, the pork belly bao buns, the sticky eggplant, DIY duck rolls and the brocollini. They are accommodating of dietary requirements even with the gorgeous desserts. With an open rooftop (retractable cover if it rains!) the atmosphere is breezy and laid back. I cannot wait to come back next time with my partner as this is the perfect date night spot.

We had the best experience here today at Melrose! All of the food is created and presented with pleasing the diner in mind. We got a taste of quite a few of the dishes so it was really nice to try so many delicious meals. Can't wait to come back again, thank you Anna and the whole team at Melrose!!

My partner and I had a fantastic experience at Melrose on Saturday trying their new High Tea. There was such a great selection of food on the tower and we added on a cocktail (French Martini) and mocktail (Gin Fizz). The flavours were amazing and fresh - the oysters were a standout even though we aren’t usually too keen on those! The desserts are a good balance of rich and light so nothing is too overwhelming and a good way to finish off. Anna and the team are very attentive and it was nice to have the roof open at the beginning of our booking, but quickly closed when it started to shower. The place is definitely buzzing on weekends -

Beautiful place to spend sunset to night time with loved ones or besties. Very romantic! Atmosphere was amazing and staffs were so kind. Foods were little salty but very delicious and generous portion for ladies. One thing bothering me is now i have very itchy foot with sandfly bites.

Brisbane’s Hidden Gem!

I have been to Melrose’s twice this year. Every time the service, food & décor is outstanding. Plus it is exceptional value for money.

Being from Melbourne, I am fortunate to have many dined at many high quality Asian fusion restaurants.
Melrose’s stacks up with Melbourne’s finest.

Food: On our first visit we chose our dishes, the second time we selected the ‘Trust the Chef’ option which didn’t disappoint – even with a fussy eater. The menu is extensive with all options sounding delicious.

We have tried around 10 dishes (from starters – dessert) and all exceed exceptions. Including fish, beef, duck, eggplant & pork. There are many vegetarian options too.

Every dish was perfect portioned & a delicious mix of flavours & quality produce. The kingfish & betal leaf are the best I have had in any restaurant. I seriously could go back every week. We coupled our meals with a perfectly made spicy margherita and pina colada!

Service: Our wonderful waiter Benson is an all-round star. Explaining in detail the elements of each dish. Over our two visits.
The Duty Manager also checked in to ensure we were happy with our meals and service.

Décor/Ambiance: The restaurant set up was great, spacious with a mix of high and low seating and a adjustable roof to cater for all weather conditions. It was spacious, making it easy to have conversations without interruptions of loud music or chatter from other tables. On both visits where a Sunday; one for lunch and one for dinner.

It is definitely worth the short trip to Bulimba and I will go back on my next visit to Brisbane.

The service was second to none! What an amazing experience. The cocktails were sublime, the food fresh, the desserts out of this world. Absolutely recommend Melrose for a wonderful dining experience.

Wow what can I say, last night my friend and I dined at Melrose to check out the new menu and it did not disappoint. The cocktails were delicious, wait staff attentive, warm and efficient but the food is what for me was the highlight. I’ve eaten at many a restaurant both in Australia and South East Asia, both fine dining and street food and this food was some of the best I’ve ever tasted! But the prices were so reasonable for this standard of food. It was modern but captured the authentic Asian flavours. As my friend is Pescatarian we tried the Scollop Betel Leaf, Sticky Eggplant, Barramundi and Asian greens. I can’t even tell you which one was the best I loved all of them! And I’m left wanting more…I will be back for round 2 very soon for the red meat edition! Thank you Melrose for a great dining and food experience.

It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The ambience was warm and inviting. The food was incredible....everything we ordered was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks menu was equally impressive, with something for everyone, and the wait staff's recommendations were spot on. The service itself was friendly and attentive. Overall an all-round fantastic place to please your taste buds and have a wonderful time.
