Let Minnow Cafe

Stumbled upon this cafe, so thankful I did! The service is what made my visit so memorable. My server was delighted to help, as I wasn’t sure what to get which was both gluten and dairy free. I ordered the avocado on toast, and added two eggs. I removed the feta and subbed GF bread. Perfect sized brekky! Keep up the friendly service, and phenomenal food/coffee - this place is a hit!

Food was good. Atmosphere is great. Make sure you get a booking if you want to visit this little place. The chai latte was super good. I would recommend. Busy place.

Nice cafe with plenty of indoor seats. Comfortable seating with table service. The food was amazing and nicely presented.

Absolutely amazed by the flavour and quality of food by this hidden gem in Clayfield.
Firstly the food looks beautifully presented and is packed with flavour. 10/10 to all these dishes.
All staff we met were extremely friendly however the stand out was a waitress named Regina who was ever so welcoming from beginning to the end of the experience there.
Parking is not the easiest here however as the cafe is always so busy that most of the time the street parking infront is taken.
Highly recommend coming here!

The food in this place was incredible. Goof portions, and great taste. The Milkshake special was amazing. Coffees were good also.
I went there in a Sunday morning, place was busy but we did not have to wait to be seated.
You gotta order from the counter, food is taken to your table.
Great service and friendly staff.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place, the food and service were fantastic. Our waitress had a bit of a chat with us, was patient with our indecisive order and the food and drinks were superb. Our only note is that the burger buns could be a tad larger to contain the ingredients better. Will definitely be back!

So happy we came across this amazing place. It was cold , rainy and very early morning . We have been checking some places that open up at this early hour.
The atmosphere was actually matching the weather outside. Good selection of meals. Once out breakfast’s arrived and we tasted this scrumptious food it took us both by surprise. I expected cold and tasteless and was pleasantly impressed with how delicious it was.

The service was amazing. Food matched the service. 100% recommend.

Beautiful food, lovely coffee, and such a nice atmosphere here. Even at their busiest, it’s worth the wait. Staff are so friendly, it feels like you’re in your own home kitchen.

The best avo on toast I’ve ever had, and I like to think I’ve had more avo on toast than I’ve had hot dinners in my life! 🤗

Street parking is ample, too.

Visited on a Sunday morning, very busy but they accommodated us at a corner booth table within seconds. Food and service were sublime - a must visit!

Good coffee & hot chocolate. I ordered the barramundi with salads ( my dish was great, colourful). Hobby ordered 🍔, he just ate the inside of the burger as the bread was old. I just mention so the shop know & check it before serving food to customers. This is my first time to your cafe, keeping up on your service. We would like to support a local business

Been here a few times and always left very happy with the experience.

Often a wait for seating as its pretty busy on the weekend but well worth it once you get seated. Staff are really friendly and you can tell they have a great working environment. Coffee is always good and the food is some of the best Brisbane has to offer in the breakfast cafe scene.

Will be back again soon.

Today it's Let Minnow in Clayfield at the old Aquarium,a busy little spot that was way too cool for me.
I started with the Prahna Chai Latte a loose leaf honey soaked chai. The theatre of pouring the Chai was followed by an avalanche of spices, so much better than a syrup. I didn't get the Honey soaked flavour though. ( Probably just my old taste buds)
Gem had the Sauted Truffle Mushrooms which although delicious ( apparently) lacked the much anticipated Truffle flavour (apparently)
I had the Persian eggs which was surprisingly yum ( why was I surprised?) I didn't know what to expect which is the joy of trying something new I guess. Poached eggs served on a base of caramelised onion yoghurt in a bowl with added bacon. My only problem was my inability to use my knife and fork in the bowl. I figured it out and pulled bits out of the bowl onto my plate to cut them up.

I originally ordered the Swimmer crab omelette ( they'd run out of crab) so not today my friend,not today.

Overall this place was fantastic with great food and a good vibe. Couple of things weren't 100% to my expectations but still super high quality. I'll definately go back, next time chasing crab 🦀

Came for brunch after landing from Melbourne, quite impressed with the food. Ordered the French toast and it was quite flavoursome. Great service too, staff were quite attentive for how busy it is. Overall great cafe.

Loved the Persian eggs (20 AUD), the caramelised onion yogurt was such an amazing pairing - added halloumi (6.5$) and sautéed spinach (5$) for some more sustenance - 9/10

The avo toast was lovely and well seasoned - we added poached eggs (18$ + 4$) - 8/10

Breakfast Burger (18$) there was smashed avo in the burger and that was an amazing addition - burger was a little small but maybe we were just super hungry 😅 - 8/10

Swimmer Crab Linguine (26$) - tasty, we added some salt and pepper for some more flavour 7/10

Eggs Benedict (24$) - 7/10

Prana Chai Latte was a huge highlight (7$), frothy, warm, sweet, and gently spiced - 10/10

Strawberry Split Smoothie (9.5$) - 7/10

Latte - 10/10

We visited for breakfast on a Friday & had attentive & friendly service from our arrival. We ordered coffees, fruit toast & forages fritters which arrived quickly - both were fresh, full of flavour & good serving sizes. I found the menu to have a great range of options; I plan trying the muesli next!
I noticed many fresh wraps & sandwiches in the glass cabinet - again, lots of options to choose from. Kudos to the funky menu names too!

Amazing little gem of a place in the inner North. Great atmosphere, excellent service and a affordable and ever changing menu. Perfect spot for kids as they offer colouring in activities to keep them entertained.

Nice little surprise in suburban Brisbane. Beautiful decor, great food and good service. These guys have got all the basics right and are equally good in the food they service.

Very reasonably priced and the food taste good. The fact that they have a special for every day, makes you want to go there more than once.
