Sea Fuel

Ordered the Greek salad a couple of weeks ago and have not stopped thinking about it since. The golden Greek peppers used are some of the best I've ever had, they have a nice bite are pickled to perfection with a good crunch. I ordered in and asked if they could throw in a few extra as I could probably down 20 they're that good, and well, whoever reviews the incoming orders and selects pepper supplies deserves a raise or something because you have earned a lifelong customer.

Was looking for some fish n chips options as a visitor to Brisbane. At first glance of the menu, I thought it's pricey but when the food came, it was good quantity. Extremely fresh and quality fish food. Very nice welcoming staff. Accommodating our special dietary requirements. All in all 5 star

Really generous servings sizes. Everything was cooked up well, the chips were crispy and the seafood salad was also delicious. The sauce also had a really good flavour to it. We got takeaway and had to walk home about 10 minutes so the flathead and sea scallops ended up a little soggy, but the cod somehow remained nice and crispy. I’d probably dine in if possible.

Shared platter for 2. Lots of seafood had to take leftovers home. Reheated later and still delicious. Friendly helpful staff.

We had a day off due to Ekka. I was wanting some good fish and chips. Read a few reviews and came across Sea Fuel West End. We were not dissapointed, the Cod, chips, salad and sea scallops were scrumptious. The food was fresh and hot and we really enjoyed our lunch. China girl is not a big fan of fish and chips normally wanting some soup or similar, but she said this fish and chips were wonderful and wants to return again soon for lunch.

One of the best fish and chips in Brisbane, the food is delicious, the portions are big, and the service is very friendly.

I bought the seafood platter that comes with Greek salad which is pretty good and well fried. The potato scallop was tasty too

The waiter was quite generous with the lemon which is a good balance not to make your throat too dry.

As you can see the seafood platter is pretty big too, it has lots of chips which is fulfilling and calamari and prawn were really fresh.

Couldn’t ask for better experience to eat fish and chips around this area.

Would come back if I am craving for seafood!

I recently visited Sea Fule restaurant in West End, and it was fantastic! The snapper and Greek salad meal, along with the side of chips, were incredibly delicious. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the tables were tidied up immediately after each customer. The staff went above and beyond, providing excellent menu advice and making my dining experience exceptional. I highly recommend Seafule for its mouthwatering food, impeccable cleanliness, and outstanding service.

Superb fish & chips here! Had the grilled red emperor with beer battered chips and it was so satisfying! Glad I took the recommendation to have the fish grilled! Tasted so good! Found serving size to be very reasonable and the price matched the quality. Love that tartare sauce comes included - nice touch! This will be my new seafood joint to go to!

Such a great fish and chips shop! Fish is very fresh, Calamari is super tender, prawns are perfectly cooked and the sweet potato chips are the best in Brisbane. We also regularly buy fresh salmon here to cook at home, and it's always good. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Very highly recommended!

I live on the Chesapeake Bay in the US, and we we have great seafood. But the meal I had here, some 15,000 km from home, was one of the best ever! Simple, fresh, flavorful and cooked just right. Fresh grilled barramundi and chips, small salad. See photo! The staff are WONDERFUL! I'll be back for sure.
UPDATE: I couldn't resist coming back for Saturday night. I had the seafood platter and home slaw. Terrific! Nothing beats high quality seafood, fresh and simply prepared!
Now I know, too, that Monday it'll be fresh grilled swordfish, before I head back home to the USA.
But I'll be back!!!
Trust me: if you like seafood, this is the place to come. Plus the friendly, casual ambience and attentive table service enhances the enjoyment.

Update 5/1/22 - tried their $12 cod and chips lunch special. Service is still great however their chips have changed and are bright yellow. Still great tasty seafood.

Came here for a weekday lunch with the family. The staff were friendly and were easily approachable. the service! was so quick and the food came out hot and tasty!
We ordered the Seafood Platter which comes with the salad and extra calamari The deep-fried seafood served was not greasy, crunchy texture on the outside and juicy on the inside. We loved that the staff came to check on us and asked about our meals and spoke to us generally. We can’t wait to come back because their food is delicious and perfectly cooked

Just about ideal fish and chips. It’s clear why it is regularly buzzing with people. They know their fish - keeping the delicacy by not overcooking. Friendly. They have a Greek edge but doesn’t brand as a Greek restaurant. Decent wine and beer menu. One to go back to.

Fresh seafood! HUGE family meal. Will be even better if they included some sea scallops!

Food was soooo fresh. What a delight to eat and absolutely enjoyed. We had the salt and pepper calamari the best I have had in Brisbane by far. We both then had flake new Zealand. Mine was battered and lightly battered not greasy so thick juicy and modish. My friend had the same crumbed...but they will have it battered next time. Lol we are going again. Staff were polite and friendly.

Food was so reasonably priced on the lunch menu! With huge portion sizes! Even got an extra halloumi bite, which were delicious! Would say maybe bolt down the mens toilet seat or just replace altogether, but benefit of the doubt that’s it's happened recently as everything else was spot on! Will definitely be coming back again and telling my friends!

great restaurant with good service and fantastic food! my friend and i came here on easter sunday and despite being packed almost full - the food came really quickly and everything was cooked to order!

we had the grilled barramundi which was super tender and juicy, as well as the grilled sea scallops which was super flavourful. i love how both dishes were cooked to showcase the natural flavours of the seafood and were hence seasoned very minimally. the chips had this AMAZING seasoning as well:-)

really enjoyed our meal, will definitely recommend to our friends and be back to try the other stuff on the menu!

came back with friends to try the lunch deal! we had the beer battered barramundi which had a great texture and was super crunchy! we thought the portions were pretty small at first but it filled us up pretty well :-) only thing is - next time i come i’d pay for the non-lunch set as the chips are different and i much prefer those! nevertheless, very very affordable lunch meal, will definitely come back!

Went looking for fish and chips for lunch on the Labour Day holiday and found Sea Fuel.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. We ordered a seafood platter that easily fed the 4 of us and was delicious with a big variety seafood, and the Asian salad was really tasty.

Parking can be a little difficult to find but it's worth hunting around for one to try Sea Fuel out.

The best fish and chips in Brisbane. Also do amazing salads and sides.

Staff are very friendly and you can order online for a quick pickup!

Excellent seafood place! Food is fresh and tasty, stuff is friendly. The overall atmosphere is great for lunch or dinner. I would recommend this place for anyone who appreciate nice fresh seafood in Brisbane for reasonable price! Well done!
