Ichiban Sushi West Village

Ichiban Sushi West Village turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We were on the hunt for a place for a late lunch, and it proved to be quite a challenge finding a restaurant that stays open after 2 PM :)

The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and our food arrived promptly. The portions were generous, and the sushi tasted fresh.

It a generally enjoyable experience. We'll definitely be returning.

Delicious and fresh sushi, such an abundance going round on the belt. Service was very speedy and anything you would like made to order was with us in a matter of minutes.

Very nice sushi! They also sell super tasty side dishes. Soft shell crab and pork dumplings my favorite. Highly recommended.

This is a frequent lunch and dinner spot. Service is always fast, food tastes great and is presented well.

I had the spicy pork rice bowl but forgot to take the photo before i poked into it. Don't complain about the photo, I didn't have to take it and share it. You are not my boss. But can be, I work for money.

The food is super yummy! I ordered the bento and finished everything. It has a few different dishes so it was exciting to try it. The serving size was huge as well. Service wise, it was surprisingly quick despite it being busy. I really enjoyed the dining experience. I wanna try the sushi train next time. I bet it would be as good quality as the a la carte one

Overall a good place for sushi 🍣

Service was quick and they offered outdoor seating or a booth. They cleared the tables quickly, and ordered food arrived quickly as well.

Had some sushi plates from the conveyor train. Their sushi plates have stronger plastic coverings so multiple sushi plates are stacked on the train.

I ordered a chicken Katsu Curry, flavour was good, lots of small dishes in the middle, with pickled sour favours mostly.

Lots of people (arrived around lunchtime on a weekday). In West End Village with two supermarkets, pharmacy, barbers, etc.

Very busy, but staff immediately explained and offered if we wanted to wait for the table.
They do have a tablet to order the food every table, including where the train seat are. The tablet also can watch another steaming platform or playing game. Food was great, I can't finish my lunch, the container for take the left over is free. There is the parking in the shopping mall

Very nice place for a quick lunch! Very good sushi and very quick service even for the dishes coming from the kitchen.
Very friendly staff as well and cheap prices! Definitely worth a visit.

This place is one of my favourite sushi 🍣 meal hangouts. I love the fresh healthy food choices here. Greetings from a happy waiter and ordering was easy with the tap ipad.
I ordered the fresh Sushimi Bento. 😌

Karage Udon
Well marinated and crispy chicken
Udon was Al Dente, broth is rich and flavourful, a tad too salty.

Sushi
Flavored rice is great! Can be a little punchier.
Rice is grainy and not mushy. It's the mark of good sushi rice.
Fish portions were chunky and generous.

Finally found Ikura gunkan!

4.20 per plate of sushi is reasonable and good value.

Third time here and never been disappointed. All sushi dishes are amazing - some of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend the lobster Gunkan and Ichiban special roll - they are so creamy!! But pretty safe to just order blind and try everything. Will be back

Went with my family for a dinner, staff were friendly, you can order everything from your table, food was very nice presented, enough and tasted so good, all of us were super happy with everything ;)

Delicious, clean, good sized, fresh, tasty sushi and amazing bento boxes. A favourite and regular eating place. Lots of variety and train is always well stocked even in busy peak periods. As pictured portions are big enough to share. Highly recommend! Value for money!

Beautiful store presentation and friendly staff, music isn't loud and food is delivered quickly when ordering off the menu. The sushi train is well stocked for the indecive ones. Meal presentation is spot on as you can see in my photo. 😊
