Food is in good serving, very tasty and good staff. the best chinese restaurant in the area. we enjoyed my food.

this food was the best thing i’ve ever put in my mouth, if i could marry it i would. the lovely lady at the front was so kind and helpful with helping us choose what to order and had a lovely chat with us while we waited for the food( a very short wait). the ambiance of this restaurant was such a vibe and the fish was really cool and just made the whole experience even better. the serving sizes for takeaway were so large and cheap that it was a bargin and i’m definitely returning regularly, i wish the best to the workers and the fish.

Went here last week for the first time in 10 years. The new owners have been there for 3 years.
I love the food. Our entree was a mixed which was superb.
For mains we had duck in plum sauce and special fried rice. The duck was so tender, the sauce tasted like a home made sauce, not a over sweet bottle sauce. Fried rice was the best I've ever had.
The portion sizes are huge so you will have some left over for lunches the next day.
Miriam was our waitress, she is so happy and made us feel very welcomed.
We noticed they do alot of takeaway as well.
It's also byo wine.
We will back, I want to go weekly it's so good.

Absolutely LOVE Golden Sun! Food quality is superb! Service is unbeatable, the team knows customers by name and remembers orders even on a massive table! And the atmosphere is so great we return most Saturday nights, so good!!

Had lunch here, started with entree so delicious. Then we shared 2 lunch specials at $10 each, plenty of food, dishes big portions. Food was soooo nice. Please give this place a try.

Front of house staff member is extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Great food quality and quantity and price.

An old favourite, we moved from this area over 2 decades ago, and got to visit this little gem again. Glad that it is still here and still serving up the best of everthing, Amazing menu, awesome flavours and we needed a doggy bag or two to take home our leftovers. This business has incredible local support too, as we watched the stream of people call in to pick up their orders while we dined in, with little to no wait time. Hi Five Golden Sun, see you again.

Loved the shandy! Good value for money, easily feeds 2/3 people for $25, even my toddler ate the pork (which is unheard of!)

First time been there .the receptionist was lovely that took my. Also The chefs cooked some of the nicest food very delicious. And very generous servings. Will be back thank you for your lovely service and food

My family and I have dined in at this restaurant and have ordered take-away meals on a number of occaisions. Both the service and the quality of the meals have been exceptional. We will have no hesitation in continuing to visit the Golden Sun at Capalaba for our Chinese meals.

Food is enjoyable. Lunch specials are great. So far we have had pretty good service so we are regulars. The lady owner is always friendly and provides good service.

Been going to this restaurant now over 30 years. Two different management in that time. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Food is so delicious and tasty too, which is why we go back every time we want a Chinese takeaway. Sometimes on special occasions we eat in at the restaurant and we always feel welcome there. I always support my local businesses. One of the staff members Marianne has been with them serving for as long as I've been a customer with them. We always have a chat whilst waiting for my order. They're always so busy at this restaurant due to their obvious popularity. Highly recommended in my family. ❤

Was busy when arrived but the wait between courses was surprisingly short.
Meals were tasty and fresh. Service was attentive and very friendly, especially as the restaurant was fairly full for a Tuesday night. Imported Beers were 5 dollars which was a nice surprise.
Definitely recommend for a good experience at reasonable prices
