Mien Korean Style Chinese Restaurant

Having walked past this restaurant many times from extremely busy to just a few patrons, my partner and I decided to try it for the first time. We had the crab meat vegetable and egg fried rice with black bean sauce and the half spicy noodle soup half pork black bean noodle. The food felt quite homie and it definitely was filling. Service was great, I was getting hot and sweaty from the lack of air-conditioning flow from where I was seated (near the door). Maybe the food was just good, sweaty for a reason. Overall, would recommend if you're not too fussed about easy and simple Korean food and definitely if you're keen on black bean sauce!

Very authentic korean noodle. Food in good portions (I have eaten some of the sweet and sour pork already shown in the photo). I really like the soup of spicy seafood noodles which gives a savoury with umami taste.

We visited on a Sunday lunch time ~ they are extremely popular so I do recommend booking a table ahead or be happy to wait atleast 20-30 minutes depending on the time of day. The waiters are super friendly and accommodating 😆❤ The food will come to your table quite quickly and expect some insane portion sizes! We had to grab takeaway and it lasted us another two meals! 😅🤗 They do live up to the authentic crossover between Korean and Chinese style food. If you are unsure about the black bean sauce, it is the Korean version of the Chinese black bean sauce. However, Koreans have developed their own version ~ which I think has been excellently incorporated into these meals. You can eat it separately to the main dish or mix it together. I recommend mixing it together as it really enhanced the taste of each unique meal 🤤🎉. I have seen some very poor reviews on @googlemaps however management must have changed over because all my experiences have been excellent @mien_runcorn 🙌🏼.

My favourite ja jang mien and would definitely recommend. It’s hard to find these style noodle anywhere that is similar to authentic. A little far from the city since its in run corn but worth the drive for melancholy childhood noodle.

As we live in the city, we don't often come to this restaurant but last night we dined there and it was superb. We ordered a Couple meal set which included black bean noodle, spicy seafood noodle soup and spicy fried chicken. The generous amount of fried chicken was fantastic - twice as more than what I will get in the other restaurant. We also ordered deep fried prawn with sweet chilli sauce, which were tasty too. Highly recommend! This restaurant located in big plaza, can approach easily with huge parking area. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered take away dinner tonight, the restaurant was very generous gave me some free dumplings too. I love their black bean noodle and fried chicken, really tasty. 😊

Come here every few months for a feast. As an Aussie I can often find it difficult to know what to order at Asian restaurants. Let me tell you. Get the set A menu! Sweet pork, black bean noodles and spicy seafood soup. You will not be disappointed.

I've been to this restaurant twice, but unfortunately I couldn't take pictures of the food here. The food is so delicious that I focus so much on eating that I forgot to take a picture. You can eat Korean-style Chinese food at a very good price, and it is unbelievable that extra noodles are provided at no cost.

I love this place. This is the third time I visited. All the foods I tried so far tasted really good. It wasn't packed and the seating was very fast. I didn't have wait. I bought spicy jajangmyun. I recommend you only get this if you're in for a challenge. They have the mild one. That's really good as well. I wished They had a medium spicy. I highly recommend fried chicken with chilli garlic sauce, and fried prawn with cream sauce was good too. I liked the fried cream prawn better than other restaurant . It was a nice experience. I recommend stopping by and trying there food.

5 stars from my family and I. I've been reading through a lot of the reviews and most are very bad but our own experience here was awesome 🤩 very delicious and portions too were perfect (for me) staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely come back for some good Korean food!
