Great little park good areas for kids to run around in or kick a footy

A nice park by the Riverside at Morpeth. I can imagine it would be busy during school holidays and weekends, but it was peaceful on Monday. A little gem

we had a triathlon here as a fund raiser. It's a great spot toilets playground picnic area. There is a running and cycling track an well as a boat ramp.

Not supposed to fish or swim around wharf but the fishos and kids love it, if boating please be aware of this and take care.
Good ramp to launch from, tide is never running too fast except at flood times.
Good area for a quiet lunch.

Amazing spot to fish and put in a boat, bins are close by and its not far from the middle of morpeth.

Morpeth boat ramp we call it. But known as queens wharf park.
Always clean. Toilets open a certain time of day. Outside showers for swimmers. Bbqs. Tables and chairs.. can swim pretty safely. Jsut be aware of others and watch for boats coming in ramp.
I go with my family to boat and fish. Nearly always a fish if not better luck next time.
Boatramp easy to get in and out of. Wharf to fish off.
A fish cleaning station (water and a spot to clean fish).
Always someone to have a quick chat with. Very good happy atmosphere. Bakery up road with yummy pies😋.

Got pies, cakes and sausage rolls at east Maitland bakery then a quick drive up to Morpeth to have a pleasant brunch at the wharf in Morpeth. Not sure how many people know of Morpeth's maritime history - worth reading about if you are a mariner or Novacastrian. Nice spot to sit by the river.

Beautiful place to hang out and relax. Large green park area for kids to play in our to have a picnic, toilets, boat ramp, small car park and wildlife to spot like water dragons :)

Nice quiet spot to sit and watch the bird life, play a game of cricket,football or just throw a frisbee around. Very nice veiwing the river at sunset.

If it's not windy, it a great place to either drop your boat in, Or cast a line from the jetty

Stunning place if there was just a playpark for the kids also.
