Best chicken rice I've had in Brisbane!! Absolutely delicious with well-seasoned chicken and aromatic rice. Simple but perfect. The fish-fragrant eggplant was super tasty as well, but left a tingly aftertaste on my tongue that affected my perception of other dishes. Not sure if that's a personal thing; perhaps I'm allergic to something in it? It was still great and the white rice was an amazing complement to the sauce. The cold cucumber entree was the perfect start to our meal.

The restaurant is clean and comfortable, with furniture and decor that reminds me of my home country Malaysia. Nothing too fancy but I love that charm. Staff members were friendly and service was pretty fast. Overall a great experience and I look forward to going back to try other dishes.

This place is legit. Food was absolutely excellent, price on point. I want to mention that we might have been the only white people there (that's a good thing) but I'm not sure if I'll get cancelled for that.

In any case 10/10 would do again in a heartbeat

Let me tell you about the Chinese Peppery Chicken with Rice. I love this dish. It's Chinese style - full of bones so you can savour the flavours for ages, because it takes so long to eat. It's also a bit spicy. And the peppercorns might make your mouth a bit numb. So great.
If you're too lazy to eat bone in chicken (what's wrong with you!?), there are a few other good choices. The fried noodle with vegetable and beef / chicken is tasty.
The restaurant is bare bones and functional. However, the food is great, so it's all good.
I would say the food here seems more authentically Chinese, not overly Westernised.

My Favs go to place! Amazing Traditional Chinese restaurant, and their hidden menus are amazing, you must try their Braised Spicy pork knuckle and Chinese peppery chicken if u like the Chinese spicy tastes.

Absolutely fire, this place is a 10/10 get the peppery chicken.

I have eaten the best thin slice pork with with a little little little bit of spicy😍.
This meal is originally very very spicy for me but when i order and say "little bit spicy", they got it. Best chef.

Glee Fu is truly something special. Without a doubt the best Chinese cuisine I've had in Brisbane. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a pleasant spot outside to sit and watch the world go by. The Peppery Chicken with Rice is incredible, I can't stop thinking about it!

Absolutely delicious! Called on at 11.30am and ordered 10x mains, 8x entrees and 5x fried rices for an office lunch - ordered ahead to be picked up at 1pm (only 1.5hrs time). I arrived with all food packed perfectly and ready to go. So thrilled! Food was delicious, portions were generous and the special fried rices are hugeeee (easily could be a side for 4x people). Pricing was really great too; mains are approx $11-17, entrees are approx $5-7 and deserts are about $4-7 .Great pricing considering how packed the containers were. 100% would recommend, and everyone in the office will surely be back again for another round.

How incredibly lucky we are that an authentic Chinese restaurant is right at our doorstep! Glee Fu is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Brisbane, everything I've had here is delicious, from the daily lunch specials, congee, squirrel fish, veg dishes.. I'm salivating just thinking of them. I enjoy a good bargain and the prices are so affordable and worth it as well. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.

Hidden Gem. Their lunch special is really value for money and the serving is generous. I prefer their rice dishes than noodles (a tad too oily for me) but I love the authentic favours. I just wish they serve duck !

Very authentic! There are many Chinese dishes which would only appear on the eating table of a traditional Chinese family. The comment from the guy who only gave one star to this restaurant is really hilarious. I would say that fish flavored eggplant tastes just as same as the one made by my mom’s hands. But I can’t blame him because it seems he didn’t really know why it is called fish flavored eggplants.

Every dish from here was amazing! We got the shallot pancakes, dim sim, dumplings, Chinese pepper chicken, pork belly and special friend rice.

So happy to have found such a delicious local Chinese restaurant!

Ordered a bbq pork wonton soup. Had to double check it was only $4.90 before ordering.
The broth was incredible. Wontons not bad, got a prawn in one, so BONUS. The rest of the menu looked amazing. Now i've tried I'll be back
