I am so sorry for your experience - please be advised Dr Sateesh is an amazing Doctor! but has never worked here at Pacific Rheumatology.

My wife and I found Dr Sateesh to be the consummate professional and could not have been happier with the treatment I received when I became unexpectedly unwell whilst on holidays. He was caring, compasssionate, thorough and understanding. Dr Sateesh was very considerate of my other underlying health conditions and approached the management of my illness practically and professionally. He took time to explain the condition to us as well as the best treatment options. His assessment was comprehensive and thorough. We are most grateful to have been lucky enough to have been referred to him and would not hesitate in recommending him.

I would like to thank absolutely amazing lady at reception Georgia 💗My Medicare expired the day before of my visit and I found it when it was too late. The matter of situation was $118. One of ladies said that they can't claim it and full stop(thank you for that). Than Georgia took over and said she will find what she can do. When finally I have got my card I gave a call to clinic and this beautiful lady answered the phone. And she DID claim it!!! Lovely, thank you so much for being kind, patience and helpful 😊 I really appreciate it and you made my day

I have being seeing this team since 2016 and will not go anywhere else. Maureen, Margaret and the others in front are excellent and so are the doctors.

Dr Sateesh is true to his profile - an holistic approach which I love.

This team will bend over backwards for you - you need to give them a chance.

Very happy with my health management under Dr Sateesh. Dr Sateesh is always compassionate and shows empathy for a chronic health sufferer. Was able to access medications through access programs I wouldn't normally be able to access and was able to trial different medications to help with my condition.

I have been a patient of Dr Sateesh for the past year due to very aggressive rheumatoid arthritis . I was very fortunate that I was referred to such a good doctor as Dr Sateesh as my condition was very complicated and required a doctor with great medical expertise and patience.

Dr Sateesh has been the ultimate professional in the past 3 years I have been a patient. He takes the time to discuss medication, provides information sheets on any new medications to be added to your regime before you start so that you can come back and ask informed questions and discuss any concerns you may have. Dr Sateesh makes personal follow up phone calls if there is a change in your results to see if there has been a contributing factor in your health. He is very knowledgeable, discusses changes in symptoms in detail. He is a very caring and supportive practitioner who encourages patients to call if they have any concerns or significant changes to their health. Dr Sateesh has my upmost confidence in ensuring my health is looked after, including regular monitoring and referrals for any necessary follow up tests if their is a change in my health.

I have a very complicated medical history and after moving to the Gold Coast from interstate I was very reluctant and wary of finding a new rheumatologist who knew nothing about me. Thankfully I found Dr Sateesh and I could not be happier. He has been wonderful with me, has left no stone unturned in working out what is best for me and has been very understanding and caring. He has gone above and beyond in keeping in touch with me and explaining things to me and I feel extremely confident in his care. The office staff are all lovely too. Dr Sateesh is the most amazing Doctor. His ability as a clinician to recognise my A S symptoms that had been missed by other rheumatologists was, for me, life changing. He truly has given me back my life by prescribing the right drug to make my horrible symptoms go away. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for his skill and caring attitude. If I could give him a million stars that would not be enough. He is an extremely competent Doctor and due to him and only him, I now live a wonderful pain free life.

I agree 100% with skymack1 - especially in regards to Dr Sateesh’s follow up care. He always returns calls and is so supportive and concerned about every detail.
The whole team at the Paradise Rooms seem to work well together, from the receptionist to the other Doctors (who took care of me when Dr Sateesh was on holidays).
Dr Sateesh constantly monitors and assesses all areas of my health so that I feel that he is taking a holistic view, which to me, is so important. He doesn’t push medications on me, and leaves it to me to make the decisions when I am ready and have read all the relevant info. Don’t know what I’d do without his thoughtfulness and care.

Dr Jacklyn Chay at Paradise Arthritis has been looking after me wonderfully for more than three years. She is thorough and super-attentive, listening carefully and taking all symptoms seriously. In times of crisis she is quick to respond with calm reassurance and practical solutions. More than once she has made contact on her day off to offer extra support. Her friendly secretary, the lovely Louise, is a gem - cheerful, kindly and ever helpful.

I have been a patient of Dr Sateesh for the past five months, at the end of the worst 18 months I’ve ever had the unfortunate experience to have endured throughout my life with AS. During this period of consultation I found he asked pertinent questions, listened to what I had to say and then had me undertake an incredibly thorough set of comprehensive tests. Throughout this process he provided a wealth of information pertaining to the various treatment options both verbally and in writing. Once all facts were established and through joint consultation, he then put me on medication which has completely transformed my life, settling my condition and improving my life immeasurably. He is by far the best rheumatologist / medical professional I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone suffering rheumatoid conditions. I cannot think of enough positives to say or how to give enough thanks to him and his very friendly and helpful reception and nursing staff for their help.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Dr Jenny NG is a very special lady, she is proactive and progressive. My Mum and I both see Jenny and are extremely pleased with the care and concern given always. We are informed of all the choices we have to maintain the best health possible while having RA. Having a nurse on staff to follow up on our general health is evidence of the specialised care we receive. The reception girls are supportive, helpful and very very kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! I call Dr Sateesh my lifesaver!! I have rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis which was causing severe pain in my back, hips and necks, rendering me unable to work, exercise or do anything other than take my daughter to school and pick her up, I was practically bedridden with the pain and the mental toll was unbearable. At 46 years of age this was tough. Because of the high inflammation in my body I was also having recurring bouts of iritis - an extremely painful condition of the eye, which was being treated with steroids causing cataracts that I had to have removed with surgery. Dr Sateesh was relentless in finding what was causing the pain and inflammation and I am pleased to say after two years under his guidance my inflammation markers are back to normal, I have been working full time again for just on two years and am back to exercising and running 6 days a week as I was before, and no more iritis. He has always been very caring and considerate of my stressful nature when it comes to my health. I don't have private health insurance but I find the fees reasonable, and in all honesty I would pay anything to keep feeling the way I now feel. Any extra services I have had to utilize such as scans or xrays, Dr Sateesh was always considerate of this and would give referral options that were covered under medicare with no out of pocket costs to me. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him or his wonderful caring staff

I always receive the best care and treatment from Dr Sateesh and staff at the Paradise Arthritis Centre. I am feeling the best I have felt in years and have my RA under control thanks to Dr Sateesh and his thorough, caring manner. Highly recommended.

Dr Sateesh Shankaranarayana and his secretary Margaret are just the best if i could give them 10 stars I would.My husband has been under his care for a number of years and suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis, Polymyalgia and now diagnose with Inclusion body Myositis Disease very rare without this Dr we would still be looking. I don't understand these negative posts at all, he is a very caring gentleman. He has even rang on a week-end to see how my husband was going.A;ways treats both my husband and myself with nothing but respect just a lovely man doing what he does best CARING!

We saw Dr. Parham with my mother. After seeing 2 other rheumatologists we finally got an honest answer. He also works in Gold Coast hospital which is reassuring. Can’t thank him enough

I have received excellent treatment here from both my rheumatologist Dr Joshi as well as the Practice Manager Maureen who went above and beyond to follow up on my behalf with QML to process a refund for an incorrect charge that I was required to pay. Great work team!

I was very fortunate nearly four years ago to be referred to Dr Jenni Ng at Paradise Arthritis & Rheumatology in Southport. I had spent several years with many specialists in NSW trying to diagnose an auto-immune condition. Dr Jenni Ng, spent countless hours both in her rooms and in hospital, monitoring me and researching my condition.
She never gave up on me and about two years ago finally diagnosed the rare type and now has me stabilised.
I will be forever grateful for the care and attention I have received throughout my journey, both to Dr Jenni and all her staff, who are efficient, kind, caring and very helpful.
