Great bunch spot just a short walk from the university of Sydney. All of the staff were so kind and helpful with going through the menu for the first time. The latte of incredible, and the kombucha on tap really hit the spot.

This is my go-to spot for brunch in Newtown. It's got everything - great coffee, delicious vegan food, calm atmosphere, awesome staff.

What I love is that it has a range of dishes - healthy bowls, big vegan breakfasts and my favourite, the breakfast burrito, perfect for hangovers.

I highly recommend!

Went a couple of times, and it’s just delicious 😋 Every dish is so well prepared and presented with so vibrant colours! I wasn’t a big fan of matcha tea, until I tried it at this place, I am now a matcha lover 😍💚 The chaï almond latte is pure goodness 🤍
The staff is so welcoming & Adam is just wonderful! We can really see the passion behind everything 😊

Lovely warm ambience, staff were friendly and accommodating to my complex dietary requirements and went above and beyond. Sustainable, ethical, clean and beautiful food with top quality produce served with a warm and welcoming smile in a beautiful little venue. What more could you ask for?! Such a shame I was just passing through, as I'd be a regular!

If you want to immerse yourself in a colourful and relaxing jungle, Buddha is the cafe for you! Amazing lemon tarts and coloured coffees, friendly and helpful staff. I must come back to try the fantastic bowls I've been eyeing ;)

Love it here! I’ve tried most of the menu, but always come back to the Green Power bowl. It is the best - light and fresh and delicious, with roast pumpkin, grilled asparagus, spinach and kale and very generous amount of avocado.❤Goes best with the quick start smoothie (it does not have coconut fat). The coffee is also excellent and they use Bonsoy for the soy milk option 😍 The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the prices very reasonable for the high quality of the food and large servings.

I went there yesterday for the second time with my boyfriend. Coming all the way from Germany I heard about this gem through instagram. The food is absolutely delicious, soul nourishing and the staff is super friendly, knows about their products very well and is helpful in suggestions.
We tried the tempeh skewers and loved the spicier ones more. As tempeh is my favourite I would love to see it in a crispy version in your bowls next time I am around maybe 🤪
But I also absolutely love the fallafel waffel!!
Outstanding experience once again finished with a blue algae latte with coconut milk 💙 mmmmhhhhh
It is my go to place once I am in Sydney for sure!!!!

I rarely eat out as I find most establishments go overboard with salt, sugar, fat or vinegar to create flavours. Buddha Bowl was an exception. I did find the tahini dressing a tad too sweet for my taste but other than that everything else was perfect. The staff is welcoming and lovely. I had a Bedouin Bowl and asked for no vinegar in my lentils and they made it fresh for me. The portion was huge! Loved both beetroot and carrot hummus and falafel waffles were great! I will definitely return! Thank you

One of my favourite cafes that I’ve ever been to, the food was absolutely delicious. Make sure to try the pesto pasta, literally the best pesto pasta I’ve ever had. Also the first time I’ve tried the blue algae latte and it was pretty good.

Loved this place! Had breakfast and lunch there a few times during our trip. The staff were really friendly and attentive, lovely fresh food and a great selection! We enjoyed sitting out front watching life on the busy street. Not vegan, but have some complex dietary needs and it was no hassle here. I felt like the menu was made for me. Awesome! Thank you!

We ordered the Bedouin Bowl & the Blue Algae Smoothie. Both were tasty, well-balanced & fresh; if you can appreciate healthy / clean tasting food I would recommend this cafe.

We had just completed the street art walk from Redfern & we wanted sustenance & this corner place took our fancy. It was a great choice. Healthy, tasty food served with a smile that didn't break the bank. There was a very eclectic feel with the decor. The raw slice for dessert was delicious. Would definitely return without the walk as it is close to public transport.

So I'm quite a carnivore, coming to place like this often makes me uneasy. I was happy to find a place that provided actual flavour whilst remaining vegan.

The bloke serving us knew how to recommend and was so friendly. We had an amazing time, I'd gladly go back again.

The pricing was a bit high for a no meat meal, but I guess the concept is that way.

I ordered tofu as a side which helped compliment the rest of my meal.

Parking can be tricky, Newtown is always busy as expected.

One last thing, I respect any restaurant that allows dogs. Thank you for an amazing time.

So good! Loved sitting in the sun after a big night out with my soy cap and beautiful granola bowl. Was absolutely delicious and the rest of the menu looks awesome too. Thank you!

Great tasty and balance healthy plant based vegan food. Plenty of gluten free options.

I ordered the classic buddha bowl, ready in no time and it is so filling with brown rice and quinoa tomatoes sauce/ curry. Kale, saurkraut, sweet potato and hummus. Served in a metallic round bowl.

Staff are friendly and accommodating and lovely music vibe. Plenty of plants in here, with its green decor, air con and smoothies, this will be a great hang out for urban summer

Deliciously vegan. As a predominantly carnivorous man, I really enjoyed the hearty, tasty breakfast served up here. My macadamia nut milk coffee was spot on and both my breakfast burrito and my wife's mushroom bowl were terrific. Thank you Buddha Bowl.
