A nice, off-to-the-side bar that's got an easy-going vibe and a great cocktail list.
I tried the Rosemary Peninsula, a delicious blend or rum, citrus and red wine that I will definitely drink again 🍹

The closest you're going to get to Havana in Brisbane. Stellar knowledge from staff, what a spot!

I can't fault this place. Their cocktails are balanced and delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and the decor is done well with touches of Cuba everywhere. Their warm cocktails have been my favourite over winter and I like that they are happy to adapt a recipe for those that don't like rum. I'll definitely be back

Great decor and atmosphere, but a bit quiet when I went (Thursday night). Try the distilled on site Milton Rum — spicy with citrus and cloves, and surprisingly not very sweet. Great spot!

I had an event at the Malecon rum bar. Not only were the staff really helpful and accommodating, their knowledge of the product was outstanding. Really made my night. I hope to be popping in more often in the future. Would recommend to all lovers of Rum.

As a lover of rum and cocktails I can recommended starting your Friday night here. The location is out of the way, which makes it remains rather quite, which allows for conversation and relaxation.

Fantastic bar. Amazing rum selection, the in house distilled spiced rum is a delight. Service is exceptional, staff are incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and passionate.

Great little bar, relaxed atmosphere. Not too big but enough room to sit back and have a drink. Try the Milton Rum, amazing.

The atmosphere is classic Cubano, from the drinks to the music and decor. Great place to drink, enjoy some music and socialize. The drinks were delicious and there was something for everyone.

Wonderful and unassuming, Malecón Bar provides the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing drink with friends, or an after work snifter.

The drinks list is extensive, so you are spoiled for choice. If you're having difficulty making a decision, the best method is to ask the bar tender for a recommendation based on how you're feeling, or preferred tastes, and go on a journey of wonderful flavours and aromas.

Food is BYO, so you can order a cocktail and Ubereats something to set it off.

Staff are friendly and really know their stuff. The house spirit is distilled perfectly and tastes amazing, would recommend the Dirty Bird Mai Tai.
