Forest Byron Bay

Me and my partner always get a seafood platter wherever we go. This was hands down the best seafood platter we have ever had! It has minimal deep fried fish and mostly fresh and some grilled. Every flavour was amazing !!!

We chose Forest restaurant located at Crystalbrook Byron Bay to celebrate a special occasion. We received a glass of champagne each, which was a nice gesture. The creative degustation menu highlights local, seasonal ingredients, and the attentive staff create a perfect atmosphere. A truly memorable dining experience!

I had maybe my favorite meal of my Australian holiday here. The food and ambiance were top notch, and the service was fantastic. I saw some not perfect reviews on this place so was a bit hesitant, but now I have no idea what those reviewers were talking about, I would go back here in a heartbeat.

Top dishes: market fish, cheesecake (the cheesecake is so good)

High-quality food and warm services! Each dish is unique and well combined with local vegetables. The sauce is also unique. Had dinner and breakfast here with my family and made our trip even sweeter.

We had the tasting menu and every dish was absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was lovely on the deck overlooking the rainforest. And staff were friendly and helpful especially with wine recommendation to complement the meals.

Pancakes and bacon were divine! These guys also know how to make a good coffee. Definitely check out Forest if you're staying at Crystalbrook. This breakfast was the perfect send-off before our trip back home.

Hands down the best place we have ever eaten. Service was outstanding food was absolutely Devine. We had a variety of seafoods, all of which was so fresh. We also ordered the duck, which was so tender. Could really tell the freshness of all dishes. Thank you crystal brook for an incredible experience, being massive foodies to say this was the best food we had ever experience is huge! We will be back, could not recommend this place any more! Definitely a must do

We went here for my wife's birthday dinner. Good food, the seafood platter could have been a bit bigger with better produce, but overall cooked well and tasty. Service wasn't the best, staff weren't very attentive and I would have hoped they would have done something special since I had written it was a birthday dinner in the booking notes. Overall nice atmosphere and lovely location.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere, food and staff! Flynn made us the most amazing cocktail and Ananth went above and beyond with his customer service. We will definitely be back soon!!!

For both breakfast and dinner the food, service and atmosphere are all outstanding. For dinner the set menu with matching wines is definitely worth it for a special occasion!

Food amazing. Plate scraping delicious. Duck and pork snitzel melt in your mouth and accompaniment flavours supported the protein beautifully.

My friends and I were amazed by the rainforest vibes in this restaurant. The atmosphere and ambiance is unbeatable. We went here for breakfast and their coffee was amazing but the food could have been better.

The food was so filling and came out very quickly . We were there to celebrate our son and daughter-in-laws anniversary for their 1st year of marriage. The theme being paper so we thought why not Paper Crane lovely night had by all 💕

What a pleasant surprise to find this hidden gem amongst the lush Byron rain forest. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our night from the service, the food and the ambience it ticked all boxes for our last night in Byron. We will definitely return.

The chef did an outstanding job. The service was well time and every dish was explained well and a journey. The food paired with wine, could not have been better, an explosion of flavour. Stunning ambiance and a memorable experience.

Beautiful restaurant. We ordered king prawns, kangaroo tartar, burrata cheese, black angus steak and local fish. Every food was amazing (my favorite is kangaroo and burrata.).
Good place for relaxing after marine activity.
