Village Cafe Restaurant & Bar

We are a week into our honeymoon in Australia and this is our favorite meals! The service is friendly, the food is served quickly, and the environment is very comfortable! Hot stone cuisine is an absolute must-try!

After a long walk on a main street nothing beats the coffee here @Village Cafe! Great location right before Woolworths. I was mesmerized with the service! I just had a cappuccino and it was served few moments after sitting! It was served with a smile. It such a relief! This is Exactly what I’m after for. A local experience that you can only get here.

I didn’t have the chance to get their names but I do sure received warm smiles and hospitality! Kudos to the team! I do hope to visit Airlie Beach again. See us again!

Love the place .. always a pleasure eat at any time … wendsday and Friday… the bar have special price! The food on the rock 💕 you must try … and if you like sweet … ask for the to toblerone drink 🍹 amazing choice 👌 thanks so much !!

Really enjoyed my experience here! I had the calamari and risotto and they were both delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the staff were friendly as well. I would definitely return and recommend to others.

Its a nice cafe with a good selection for breakfast.

Kids enjoyed the pancakes and the big breakfast was huge and very filling.

Smoothies were nice and as they had a bit extra left over from making 2 of the one kind they poured it into another glass and brought it out.

I had my breakfast at this cafe. The food was fresh and healthy. The staff were friendly.

Beautiful brekkie at the Village Cafe. No kids menu though so pricey for families. Still...worth it! Great coffee and fresh juices

Really good food. Lots of reviews about a slow service, but to me this doesn’t really matter when the food tastes great. You can tell the food is made fresh. We only had to wait around 20 mins for our food. Prices are reasonable too. Overall I defo recommend

My husband & I enjoyed the breakfast that we ordered. We want to thank the chef, Jason, for the food he cook & for the personal service. It was wonderful. The bacon 🥓 was still juicy compared to the other cafe. I would like to also give credit to the foodserver for being nice & friendly. I would highly recommend Village Cafe.

I ate here nearly every day without fail whilst in Airlie the past week. The food was spot on and all my mates loved it too, I think I’ve ate everything on the menu and have 0 complaint. Cheap high quality food BIG PORTIONS TOO!! Abbie the owner is by far the gem to this place closely followed by the food. Best eggs Benedict in town hands down!! Abbie also makes a crackin coffee

Seriously delicious food! I had the cajun chicken burger with GF bread and would highly recommend it! Hidden lil secret this place.

Ate here a few times during my trip. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a small double shot latte from here, and I’m please to say it was incredible!!!

Very nice. The staff were lovely, if a little eager to sell alcohol. A bit expensive for me, but it was all very tasty.

I'm giving five stars to the young guy who served us as he was all alone doing front of house while the owner worked in the kitchen. I hope the owner appreciates his great work. The coffee was just right with excellent seating away from the main Street.

One of the best Cappuccinos and Eggs Benedict’s I have ever had. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. I feel that great customer service is a dying art but Village Cafe is keeping it alive. Many thanks.

The place is located down a side street, and can actually be quite easy to just walk past. But don't! This is a very nice place. Staff were nice and the place seemed and looked clean. I had a late lunch here and I got the Black Angus Beef Burger. The food was very delicious and it was fast. Great value for money.

We used Village cafe for Whitsundays catering (private celebration). We contacted many local caterers who we were very disappointed with. The team at village cafe were excellent. They went above and beyond in terms of service, making sure that we got exactly what we wanted, the food was delicious, fresh, well presented and overall fantastic.

Plus it was great value for money, and the vegan menu they created especially for the event was superb. We couldn't be happier with them

Had a really great meal here today with my family inc 2 kids under 6. Coffee was lovely and service was fantastic. Definitely try this place for yourself, don't just go by some of the reviews. Thanks very much Village Cafe! :)

This place only gets better and better the more we come! Amazing staff, very down to earth and very happy to help however they could. Food was an amazing experience (especially since we don’t have this experience very often at all) and drinks were very good quality. Will be back whenever possible and a great intro to being Airlie locals finally
