Camp Duckadang

My 4 grandchildren and myself had 4 days 3 nights at Camp Duckadang, we will have memories for the future. Katie really made us welcome,and any questions we had were answered with knowledge of the area, the facility and the ethos of the camp. Where can you go and have the facility of tennis/basketball courts. Ping pong, and pool tables, swimming pool, and a nearby creek. We highly recommend Camp Duckadang. See you again in the future Katie. Jo and 4 little people.

This is our 4th year going to duckadang We absolutely love this place for our family getaway !
Pool , mini golf , basketball courts , beautiful flowing creek , playground for the kids and most of all serenity ! Katie the caretaker is amazing and goes above and beyond and couldn’t have done enough for us! We will definitely be back 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our cabin stay over the weekend with a small group of like minded Lion Club maintenence volunteers.
Great getaway in a relaxing peaceful country environment.

Even though the road in is very narrow we were still able to take our van down. The amenities here are amazing. They cater for all ages with a pool, mini golf, playground, climbing tower & tennis courts. They even have a large cheese set.

We held a men's camp just last weekend. Paul and Cath who are the managing staff of the campsite. Were very friendly and always assisted us with anything we asked. The food was made in love and more than enough! I'm talking full grown men just under 30 of us feeling bloated after a couple of helpings.
There was always something to do. Sports games both inside and out. Basketball,table tennis to name a few.
But the service paralleled with Duckadang's location. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the country side ranges and it's serenity really leaves you in another timeless dimension. If there was ever a place to leave the world behind. Duckadang would be it. I'd recommend any social groups,church groups, families,sport groups etc. What ever your reason is for coming. I assure you will leave
Duckadang refreshed and refocused. This is my third visit and know this will not be my last. Thank you Paul , Cath and the young man that was there. See you guys again.🙏❤

Brilliant camp site, great for families!

We took 70+ Adults & Children out to Camp Duckadang for a Kapa Haka Noho. (NZ Cultural Group Stay) We had the most amazing time. Organising our booking with Cath was such a breeze. Our host Paul was beautiful in all the assistance we required! The families we took are still talking about our trip to this day! The location. The facilities. The surrounding views. The crisp winter mornings to name a few! Thank you so very much for having us! We will see you all again next year!!

Great place, friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble! We're all looking forward to coming back in a few weeks!!!

We use this venue for team workshops and find it marvellous. Great quiet location, superb catering and good accommodation in fairly modern dormitories. There's no mobile reception but that kind of works well for us. You can drive 10 minutes to get it if required. Belinda does a fabulous job looking after us too!

We had a wonderful experience at Camp Duckadang experiencing the sights and the many games and activities on the property such as mini golf, swimming, an observatory, a 'cinema' room, an obstacle course, ping pong, tennis, a playground, a BBQ area and more - with a soon to be added flying fox.

A few attractions around the camp are showing their age such as the obstacle course which has some frayed ropes or missing tyres and the air hockey table which doesn't blow strongly anymore. Even with these flaws, it doesn't detract from the fun Camp Duckadang provides for the price.

Belinda is the best host you could ask for and is the friendliest person you'll meet. She is extremely knowledgeable on the area and planetary bodies, and can cook up a storm! Chili the dog may also make an appearance on the grounds if you're lucky.

such a great place. Belinda the caretaker is an amazing lady who will do everything she can to make your stay enjoyable. Will definitely go there again. Great for youth groups.

Great camping and day facilities. We enjoyed a lovely day for a friends birthday. Lots of sruff to keep everyonr amused. Great for family gatherings/camp outs

Fantastic place to go. One house to rent and then dorm rooms. With a pool tennis court's playgrounds and lots more

Great surroundings and tasty food. So much to eat and didn't get hungry. Used the observatory, and canoeing. Great fun.

A really great place to get away to. perfect for school camps and groups to get away from the city to. pricing is good and the food is great.

What a cracking place, Belinda was really welcoming and a great host. Heaps of water around and heaps to do, would come back every weekend.

A wonderful time i had here with an ex girlfriend and meet a new now ex and plenty of fun with other girls and smuggled in Alcohol very good stars and And Telescope Building Doom
