No playground. Clean restrooms (hand pumped hybrid drop toilets) with friendly insects and spiders. No dogs in national parks. Sheltered BBQ and tables plus tables (not so clean) at some of the numbers camp sites. (There ends the google suggested items.)
I'd been here before and remembered the Rid (insect repellent) but this time it was March flies (in November) instead of leaches as it was much drier this time.
Beautiful display of fireflies after the sun set. Minimal road noise because it's not too busy, but I would be unlikely to pick a spot close to the road despite them being closer to the loos. You do get the odd truck using air brakes off in the distance for some reason.

Loved it. Swam with platypus, clean toilets, campsites easy to get into and private. All this just off the highway.

Beautiful spot, can see platypus in the creek! Great for an overnight stop but must book online and get a permit. No phone service (which was lovely!)

Good clean campground with clean facilities and lots of room for camping and parking. Great rainforest walks and swimming areas

Nice clean grounds, love the rainforest. Has toilets.
Grounds are close to the main road and traffic noise is very noticeable.
Sites 2,3 and 4 would offer the best sites if you wish to use solar to recharge batteries. Other sites are situated under the canopy.
Plenty of march flies so take aerogard tropical strength. Sitting in the car it felt like a scene from Jumanji, no kidding. After I sprayed the aeroguard they were there but I didn't get bitten 👍

Amazing place to view the stars. The nearby hike to Nandroya Falls was well worth the effort. The path follows a steep ridge and winds past silver falls first. We had the entire walk to ourselves and found it to be one of our favourite hikes in northern QLD.

Fantastic little stop for a bbq or picnic just have to watch the March flies, good facilities with the under cover picnic tables & toilets very good for pit toilets.
Then there is the swimming hole it’s extremely popular with the locals.

Great spot. Good walks. Site 11 is best for caravans then 2 3 4. The rest are really suited to campervans or trailers.

Beautiful place to spent the nigh mostly clean and kid friendly

Clean toilet facilities and spacious campsites. No light above bbq be prepared to cook in daylight or byo head lamp. This is rainforest camping, bugs and insects are normal and out of anyone's control. Still a great campsite.

Great place for a picnic lunch. We couldnt do the walk to the falls as we couldnt cross the creek because of the high water at the time.
