The Hangar Cafe and Bar - Airlie Beach

This is a fantastic place to hang out for a drink or a bite to eat. Watch the planes and helicopters come and go. The kids will love it. If staying in Airlie Beach add this place to the itinerary.

A lovely all-round experience. The staff were friendly. The brekkie burger was simple yet delicious. The coffee went down well (well enough I ordered a second). I really enjoyed watching the tour groups and planes coming and going while listening to the cafe beats. It’s just something quite unique. Will definitely visit again next time we’re in Airlie.

Great little find, a cafe with a difference, sit and watch the light aircraft and helicopters take of and land.

I hardly leave reviews where I go, but I had to make sure I did for this one.

I am not exaggerating at all when I say this: I had the best coffee of my entire LIFE at this place!!! And the best bacon and egg roll of my life TOO!! I am from Sydney and I really want to go back there just to have one more coffee before I leave. Staff were also super friendly and right on time as we pre-ordered drinks and food.

Do not let the opportunity go to waste if you can have an iced coffee here!!! 100000/10

The Hangar Cafe is a unique experience overlooking the airport. Great outdoor eating area.

A great spot - good coffee - and the steak sandwich is frankly -ridiculous. Massive and super tasty - staff are friendly and it’s (well behaved) dog friendly as well .

What a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, sharing the love with the crew here at Hangar Cafe & a Happy Happy Birthday to Judy! We did the flight over Heart of the reef and then had a scrumptious brekky at Hangar Cafe. These guys treat everyone like one big happy family. Amazing service, delicious food and a great vibe as the planes fly by. 🤙🤙

Great coffee great food and great service with a smile. We stopped in today for lunch and had a Toastie, Chicken salad wrap chips and coffees.
Very relaxing and were lucky to have aircraft arrive and take off.

Wow an amazing breakfast. Bruschetta breakfast. Great service, the food was incredible. Best breakfast of our week stay in Airlie. The outlook is exciting with planes taking off and landing all while you enjoy your breaky.

What a lovely cafe! We had breakfast there, food was fresh and coffee was phenomenal. They even had a large group order before us and the ladies working there were super efficient in getting our delicious food to our table. Will definitely be returning. 10/10.
