Platinum Medical Centre - Dr Anita Sharma

I have known Dr sharma for well over 20 years . Fantastic at diagnosing health conditions , extremely knowledgeable, diligent , kind, caring doctor. I can’t say enough good words to describe her as a health professional. I would never hesitate to recommend Dr Sharma to anyone

Doctor Anita Sharma is a strong, intelligent, sassy GP who actually listens. Just by sitting in her waiting room, I can see a great cultural and gender diverse patient base, though I do see more women. She possess magnificent multi-tasking and research skills. When I leave her office, I always feel completely satisfied that all my concerns are dealt with and there is always a wholesome joke shared. Her reception staff are very helpful and professional and some are layman Psychologists.

Dr Anita Sharma is amazing, so glad I met her some years ago through a good friend. She is an extraordinary Doctor that listens, understands, is attentive, very professional and Thanks for showing so much care and concern. She gives ample time to her patients. My husband and son also sees Dr. Sharma they find her very easy to talk to and feel very comfortable in their health needs. Her staff are always very friendly & welcoming!

Dr Anita Sharma has been a god send for me, i had an medical problem that had been ongoing on for a year with no results. I decided to try Dr Sharma as i had read great things about her and im so glad i did. Anita is so thorough and has a genuine and caring nature who really wants to help you. Also, all the reception staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Im so happy i made the change. A big thank you to all the team.

Best GP Ever!!

I had an appointment with Dr. Anita Sharma which went very well and I was happy with her services. However dealing with reception was not a pleasant experience, mainly due to a lack of kindness and understanding. After not receiving any response to 3 emails where I was asking a simple question, I went in person to the practise. The lady at the desk was not patient or accommodating to help explain a simple question about how I would receive results for a lab test. I am new to Australia and I don't know the medical protocols of how and when results are communicated to patients.

Dr Sharma, rude, arrogant & unprofessional, you need holiday or therapy.

Before saying hello she started defending herself and why we should wait her for 30- 45 minutes, she kept talk, we nodded .. she continued and she said
"I am not here just sitting and drinking cup of tea" and I can see anger all over her face.

Thing going in my head.. when she gonna ask us what the purpose of visiting, never happen.

We left in anger, distress, upset.. luckily got another appointment nearby.

Very unprofessional behaviour.
Went to see dr Anita Sharma for my 3 month old baby. Appointment was @1345 waited until 2:15pm and as bub was starting to get unsettled, I asked receptionist "Can you please tell me how long is the waiting time, its been half an hour" she replied that I was next. Maybe after 10mins, our name was called so we went inside, as soon as we entered Dr. Anita Sharma started to say about how we have to wait for medical service as it can't be on time sometimes, I replied "I understand that" rather than seeing my baby, she kept going on and on about waiting time... she was soo furious while talking..I kept nodding my head .. and then she said "I am not here just sitting and drinking cup of tea" then I realised that may be the receptionist have told her that I said I was waiting for 30mins. Dr Anita Sharma was soo furious while talking with us that I felt extremely uncomfortable and scared to let her see my baby. I thought with all those grudges how can she treat my baby with empathy, how can she make right judgment? What if she vent her grudge on my 3 month old baby. So i just picked up my baby and left the premises without saying anything.. I was totally scared.. I'll never return to this very unprofessional Doctor. (I am fully aware that sometimes Dr can't see patient exact on appointment time and I've waited more than 1 hour to see Dr Anita Sharma before and that time when I asked why I've to wait for more than hour... I was told that Dr ?accidentally put my name as seen patient without seeing me.. so today also this came into my mind and thought I'll ask and this happened) Luckily we found another GP in different facility to see our baby.
