Australia Post - Kippax LPO

Great, friendly staff who are quick to help and very welcoming. Love my local post office! Has a good selection of merchandise besides standard post stuff etc as well, which is great - have picked up presents for the fam here before! Also appreciate how smooth their passport photo taking process was.

Always found the staff to be most polite - we have a mailbox and use the shop often.

WENT TO RING THEM ABOUT THE AFL FOOTBALL $1 COINS & DO YOU THINK THEY WOULD ANSWER THERE PHONE. I MUST OF RANG 20 TIMES AND STILL NO ANSWER.. BE NICE IF THEY WOULD ANSWER SO I COULD FINE OIT SINCE I LIVE IN BELCONNEN...
WHY GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER OR TELL ME TO RING OR YOU WILL RING ME & NOW THAT I WANT TO FINE OUT THEY JUST WONT ANSWER. LAST TIME I GO THOUGH THEM AT KIPPAX. I WILL HO BACK TO BELCONNEN NEXT TIME

Don't bother phoning - they don't answer!

They rejected my passport photos few times even though guidelines were followed correctly, the Chinese sale staff acting like as an expert photographer and telling me that my photo is a year old even it is only 2 months old, then another excuses saying my pictures has wrinkles even it is smooth and no blemishes (Believe me, I am a photographer). I guess already that she is trying to make a business, she want me to take a photo with their camera. Sent to Belconnen Post Office and everything fine. Money maker but Poor customer service , never deal with this shop again.

today went to help my friend who's on wheelchair to renew a passport, the non professinal Asian man with glasses rejected to give a form and asked to go get the form and come back! he saw the man was tired and on wheelchair, no consideration at all! he wasted two peopls time as well

This review is specifically directed at the kippax (Holt, ACT) post office.

Could not care less about their customers parcels being stolen. I had a collection slip stolen from my from door (have video footage which was provided to the police), I believe this was taken with the intention of filling out the author to collect section on the back and fraudulently collecting the item. I went as soon as the post office opened to collect my parcel and to explain the situation to staff so they could be aware that someone may be trying to fraudulently collect parcels in this was.

The staff member (who I believe to be the manager of that store) response was "oh well". He barely listened to my explanation and concerns that they could experience theft from this person. I can't believe the flippant attitude this person had to his customers mail being stolen.

Would n it recommend sending post with Aus post if it will end up at this collection point as the staff clearly cannot be bothered to ensure mail is handed over to the correct people.

Don't bother going here for passport photos or anything else. They cost me over 3+hrs of my time having to go get photos redone & go back to passport office, after they botched my passport photos. They are extremely rude(tried to argue that they were fine) and have no idea what good customer service is. I asked them to redo them & provide a refund- I was met with a rude Asian lady who gave me a flat out NO! Do yourself a favour and go to an Aust Post run post office at Jamison shops, Macquarie because Kippax is a franchised run PO.

They've lost my parcel. It was redirected to Belconnen then apparently back to Kippax. It was supposed to be in transit again to me yesterday but hasn't arrived. Now they won't answer the phone!
