A wonderful discount store with new discoveries at every turn. Everything is a teeny bit jumbled but that adds to the excitement as you never know what you are going to stumble upon. Unique and cheap items that aren't found in usual shops.
For myself I was most excited about finding an entire shelf of baking and cake decorating items. Cake boards are usually expensive but these multiple shaped and sized ones were cheap and were just as good in quality.
Give yourself a good amount of time to discover the treasures youll find in this store

I have been a regular customer at this store, but after the recent interaction with the young, 'generation Y' shop assistant I am completely disgusted and won't be returning. I am a seasoned art hobbyist and business owner, and purchased countless art and craft supplies including canvases, paint brushes, paints and packaging. Additionally, I have bought homewares for conserves, pet toys, stationery, and gift bags. I am ok with the actual products but extremely unhappy with the service. There is this one, sour faced shop assistant who always interacted with me in a passive aggressive manner, and when I dared to pull her up about her behaviour, she simply said "don't like smell'. So, My Value, after many years of financially supporting your business - this is the 'thanks' I get . Your loss, Goodbye.

Probably the most dirty, disorganised, messy store I have ever visited. Aisles are cramped and stock is just everywhere, impossible to find anything you're looking for, everything they sell is just junk. The last few times I have walked past they have a wooden shoe stand out the front that the are advertising for $19 and it's completely broken! They have an eftpos minimum and I don't think they keep count of their stock because when you buy from here they just type in the prices of the item and the receipt just says 'generic item' or something. Just seriously don't go here, there is a reject shop like a few more steps up the street.

I was at my value in kippax canberra. The service was absolutely terrible. I bought two fidget spinners and one was not in the packet. I bought both because the woman working told me it worked perfectly fine. I came home and realised the green one did not spin as well as the other fidget spinner. The woman working asked me if I wanted a reciept and I said no.
Today I went to exchange it and the boss of my value told me it was my responsibility that the fidget spinner did not work and that I had no receipt. I told her that she had asked me if I wanted a receipt or not last time i bought it and she said she does not care. I told her that if something doesnt work and I purchased it faulty from her store even without a receipt she needs to exchange it and she refused.
She told me she has never had a green color fidget spinner at her my value yet my sons kids have the same green glow in the dark they purchased at the same store.
I am very shocked, dissapointed and quite frankly disgusted at the service here. I feel lied too and mistreated. Not to mention only people from asian decent work their whispering things i dont understand behind my back. I will be taking things further.
1 star from me. My value in kippax does not even deserve one star. Not to mention she keeps raising the price of her prodcuts the more popular they get. I feel she was being racist towards me laughing behind my back.
