Mansfield Ski Lodge - Mount Buller

The lodge is a fantastic place to stay if you want a communal space to interact for first-timers and experienced skiers alike. The manager, John, was really friendly and eased us into the accommodation for our short stay with a toddler.

The communal kitchen was easy for all to access and use whenever necessary as well. The breakfast would be milk, varied assortment of cereal, cornflakes and bread with spreads.

It was so great that we chose this over other accomodations in Mt Buller Village. We definitely made the right choice! Our family (4 of us) was so happy with our stay in Mansfield Ski Lodge a year ago, very comfortable and easy access to the village and relevant amenities. We stayed in a double or connecting rooms which was so ideal for us. The lounge area has a brick fireplace that uses wood to lit and warm up the place so it was so good to just sit and relax in the lounge after a long day out in snow. John, who looks after the place, was also so friendly and approachable. We will definitely recommend Mansfield Lodge.

Our favourite place on Mt Buller for overnight stays. I can easily say that we are regulars here now.
Great atmosphere! This cozy lodge with beautiful views and fireplace right in the heart of the lodge will make you fall in love with it.
This place have everything you need - clean rooms for good rest, large common kitchen area for cooking your favourite like at home meal or of course some mild wine to warm your winter nights, lounge area by the fire where you can enjoy yourself or have some fun with family or friends and much more.
Definitely recommend it!

What a fantastic space!
Like another Reviewer said I wish we could give it a bad review so we can keep this our little secret.
Facilitates were clean and the members and John made us feel very welcome, whilst we were out for the day we looked forward to heading back to the Lodge to sit in front of the fire and chat with them.

Will definitely be coming back.

It's right next to the Standard run so if you're up for it you can start your morning Ski there!

We really enjoyed staying at the Mansfield Ski Lodge. It is family owned and run, and the staff were all friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, including recommending and taking extra care, and even a lunch/snack. The room is very clean, comfortable and pleasant. The Mansfield Ski Lodge is within a few minutes walk of Mount Buller ski central , would highly recommend staying there if you visit which I also recommend and really enjoyed.....More

Very nice and cosy lounge/ dining/ kitchen area. With perfect views from the lounge. Good facilities. Great, entertaining, genuinely friendly guy managing the place. The only negative: the very small rooms have no hooks anywhere. Hooks are needed to keep things off the floor, very important in small spaces. But that seems to be a quite common problem in Australia.

Great family friendly ski lodge. Good standard of accommodation. Friendly atmosphere. Large community kitchen. Well equipped and great facilities. Some bathrooms upgraded to a high standard. Near to Main ski run. Will be coming back.

One of my very favourite places to stay. The management and members are a great bunch of people. Would highly recommend.

You just have to get up and watch the sunrise in this place it is special thats for sure.
