Shahrood Restaurant

We suddenly noticed the sign "Kaleh Pacheh is available" on the window and saw this restaurant for the first time and went inside. The quality of Kaleh Pacheh and home-made hot bread were of the best among several places I tried in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and other cities in Australia in years. It was so tasty and with home-made quality. The amount of food considering the price was better than other restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant

Went there for dinner. The food was nice, price are similar to most places. I can see some comments complaining about price but seriously price of everything has gone up, all restaurants will have a price change. Adding some basic photo for reference

Great grilled meat, fresh hummus, eggplant dip and the lightest ever naans. I loved the complimentary soup and the authentic casual atmosphere. Food came out quick.

Why people don't seem to eat here is a mystery. A great little family restaurant. The food is fresh and extremely tasty and authentic. Reasonably priced and plentiful. A great introduction to Persian cuisine.

Food was great. While they had run out of the lamb that I wanted, you can’t go wrong with a shank.

Unique place, nice food. Make sure you go to the garden and sit on the day beds. Food was delicious and the owners are such a nice kind family from Shahrood, Iran.

Didn't use the shishas but they add visual flavour along with the natural salads and great meat options. Sitting on one of twelve couches or in the garden is condusive to good digestion 🙃

I love the food. There are three or four Persian restaurants in top Ryde and hands down this place has the best food. With more community support they’ll be open up up the Persian day-bed section at the back.

Great Persian restaurant with cool casual dining area out the back of the restaurant (with shisha) and a small front area for regular dining. Food is consistently delicious. Staff are lovely, I go here often and always have a nice meal and nice conversation with the manager.

I always come here for Persian food with my mother. The service is excellent from Mr. Rezaei, and the food itself is amazing. My mother herself thinks this is some of the best Persian food she's ever had in Sydney. The outdoor shisha section is fantastic - fitted with wooden beds and a very comfortable place to smoke and enjoy tea.

The food does come at a premium price, but for us it is always absolutely worth it.

I will be bringing friends here in future for sure.

I had the kebabs, interesting flavour yet delicious , rice cooked to perfection. The soup was also very good. Friendly service and meal was at a good price. Definitely must try. Will be back again.
