The Cross Cut Hair Care Centre

I’ve recently had to break up with my fabulous but expensive hair dresser and thought I’d try my luck at the local Cross Cuts for a quick snip while shopping with my kids.
The team here are fantastic and friendly, super efficient and have done a great job!
They also didn’t hesitate to help me out with a fundraiser I was organising for the Cancer Council which is so very appreciated.
I’ve found my new hairdressers :)

Called this morning and managed to get a same day appointment. Anatoly trimmed my hair for me. She was very warm and welcoming. Will be going back again ❣

Absolutely love coming to this salon to get my hair done! At the beginning of 2022 I went red from brown and my hair looked stunning and the colour lasted for a long time! Now I have gone blue/green, and the colour has stayed vibrant for months! Definitely recommend :)

I've gone from having the worst hair where it was basically snapping from being over bleached, to now having my hair looking healthy! I've been coming to this salon for many years and it's always been an awesome experience! Especially with having my hair blonded you have to be careful and my hair is always left in great condition. Belinda does fantastic work and all the staff are super nice!!

This is by far the best place I’ve ever been to for a haircut. The staff there are so kind, always chat with you and make you feel comfortable. I loved my haircut, and it’s genuinely my favourite hair cut I’ve ever gotten. It’s made me feel so much more confident!
I got shampoo and conditioner and realised it had an ingredient I’m allergic to in it, I called at closing time just to see if they’d pick up and they told me to come back and they’ll help. I walked in and they already had stuff for me waiting that they had checked for me.

As always, first class service. Carmel looked after me this time. She was friendly and genuine, and listened to my wishes, and combined with her excellent skills, together results exceeded my expectations. Owner Stan runs a wonderful establishment. A fabulous way to indulge in an hour or two of "retail therapy"

Absolutely amazing, I had Julia dye my hair brown from a horrible red, she didn’t make me feel bad about the awful job someone else had done and was so accommodating to my budget, she advised me of the best product to use on my hair to prevent the colour fading. Great conversations too, will be back for sure

I've been coming here for nearly 20 years, this place is the best around thats why everyone keeps on coming back.
All the ladies know what they're doing, and it doesn't matter who cuts/dyes your hair, they all do a fantastic job.
We get our sons haircut here too and we've never have had a bad haircut.

Stan does a great job running the place and as said in other reviews, they are open most days and even most public holidays. Stan is also very friendly and great with the kids.

Whenever someone asks me where a good hairdresser is, i always recommend crosscuts @ Elizabeth.

The prices are good for a salon, even as a guy the prices match with other barbers. The difference is you experience better attentiveness and quality here then you do at one of the other local barbers.

I cannot thank everyone enough, due to a shoulder injury. It physically hurts to brush my hair, I went in with matted hair though not too bad. Nobody looked at me like they were judging me, they were also understanding of my level of anxiety and sat me where I felt most comfortable. They catered to my OCD, most of all. I am so happy that I can now brush my hair, after chopping off the problem areas. I am so grateful and cannot recommend this place enough, thank you for turning what was something traumatic for me. Into a pleasant experience

I have been getting my hair done here for years and they are always super amazing and I’m always changing my hair so that says something! The hairdressers are so friendly and always up for a chat and great at what they do on top of it 😊 highly recommend x

I went here with my aunt as a 16th birthday present, the staff are so nice and very welcoming, they are amazing, and I didn't have high expectations, but they exceeded my expectations, will definitely be returning at somepoint, thank you!

I tried this Hairdressing Salon because they were the only Salon I had found that would be open on a Monday. I also found out that they are open virtually every day of the year!
Good Friday & Christmas Day are the only day's they are not open! How wonderful & so convenient that is, as I wasn't aware of any other Hairdresser near me (Blakeview) that was open on a Monday, or a Sunday or most Public Holidays! The young woman who did my hair, did a great job, especially considering she had never done it before. Their prices are a bit higher than some other places but for the convenience of a Monday shampoo & blow dry, it was money well spent.

All the staff are so friendly, welcoming and professional. Never had a bad experience there for either my daughter or I. Highly recommend just remember to make an appointment as they are very busy.
