Chop Chop BBQ

The first thing I noted was the incredibly fast speed at which they served me my food (less than 5 minutes!), though granted this was off peak hours at 3:30pm. I had the honey chicken, and also the KL Char Siu pork. Pork melted in the mouth with the sweet and sour sauce and coleslaw. Noodles weren’t too hot so very easy to eat, rice was a tiny bit hot but it’s fine. Presentation was very nice for the chicken as well, and the taste was also incredible. The red chillies were a bit too spicy for me though. Atmosphere was nice, but it’s probably best in the evening. A little bit on the pricey side though since it’s in the city, with the pork at $16.50, the honey chicken at $15.90, and the Hainanese chicken rice at $13.90. Location and opening times of the store also cater to a general audience. Would go again.

Accidentally found this place. My family and I ordered several kinds of food. all the food tastes delicious, but what I like the most is the taste of the Roast Pork Laksa. The Roast Pork is very dry, juicy, and tastes really delicious. The fat can be said to be very minimal. My wife ordered two meat rice combination fried rice. It tastes very good and the soy sauce is not too thick. I also ordered fried wontons containing a mixture of pork and shrimp. It tastes very delicious because it is topped with mayonnaise sauce. The seller at this restaurant is also very friendly and quite fluent in English even though he is Chinese. Thank you for giving us good service and giving us a fairly comfortable table (when we came, I came with my wife and two children). For the price, for me and my family it is quite worth it. Considering this restaurant is located in Perth CBD. It should be one of your culinary destinations when you stay in Perth.

This place is one of my all-time favorite restaurants. I've seriously lost track of how many times I've dined here; it's like I'm here practically every week! The food is just amazing, and they even serve this delicious soup. I highly recommend everyone to give it a try.

We had a very good lunch here! The roasted pork and KL style char siew taste superb and definitely well worth the money! The soup that accompanied every meal tastes great too. Our lunch also comes with free flow Chinese tea and fried chilli in oil. Highly recommended if you are touring/studying/working in Perth and miss Malaysian and Singapore food!

The food here is great. The food comes out quick 😋. And friendly staff. I always go here before I fly out and fly in for work.

Food is very well presented and the sauce that comes with the meals compliments the meat. The staff are all helpful, bright and friendly, the food is delicious and the servings are generous. If you happen to be in the CBD and enjoy your roasts meats, definitely add this place to your to-do list.

First timer and a happy customer. Honestly, it's the taste of Asia. Visited on Jan 2, 2024. I ordered the KL Char Siu, and my wife ordered the BBQ Pork. Love them! So good! Price was about $16 per pax. Enjoy guys!

This is probably one of the best roast pork/barbecue places in Perth. The flavour is just amazing. The chicken rice is very tender and the sauce was sweet and spicy. The crispy pork was very crunchy and delicious. The restaurant even has complimentary tea. If you are looking for food in Perth, this is a must try. I am definitely coming again :)

My 'go to' dish here is the KL Style BBQ pork. It's the perfect balance of fat (that melts in your mouth), sweetness and caramelised skin. 5 stars for the food. They have a station where you help yourself to cutlery, chilli and unlimited hot tea. My only downside is that the cutlery and plastic cups still feel a bit "oily" even though they have been washed. Service is above average for an authentic Asian eatery - they smile and interact like a valued customer.

Beef brisket noodles for $15. Soup was super nourishing and the beef was so soft! The noodles came separate with their own sauce. Overall, really tasty! Service was friendly and fast even though it was almost closing time. Portion might be a bit small for big eaters though.

Edited latest: dine in a few times & food never disppoint. Taste is always fantastic. Only slight drawback is the portion is on the smaller side but I guess it depends on individual appetite. Parking can be challenging when it comes to peak hours especially lunch & dinner times.

I've so far tried twice takeaway collected at Cannington & Willetton. Frankly I'm impressed with the way they packed the food with the rice / noodles separated from the meat / gravy. This prevents the food from getting soggy. I'm also blown away by the food portion of their takeaways as it's fairly large (unlike most other eateries). Most importantly is the taste of the food. Amazing! As it's takeaways, the food are mostly fairly cold by the time I received them (through their free delivery service) & YET it still taste so good. Imagine if you have a meal in-store! I can't recommend enough of this place.

Still the go to place in Perth for the best roast pork with crunchy cracking and KL style sticky barbecue pork.
Comes with a generous serving of rice with sauce, think of dripping on bread, this is dripping on rice.
Nothing fancy but good, authentic Malaysian style chicken and roast/barbecue restaurant.

one of the best roast meats i have tried in perth. the best would be the chicken and the char siew. the duck is average. the rice and noodles are tasty as well. overall wonderful dining experience and i enjoyed my meal. will surely come back for more.

My go to place for a good BBQ pork dish. I like their portion size, for me it shows value. My favourite is the Malaysian BBQ pork noodle. The Malaysian style has more samcan (fat), it makes the dish much tastier.
Although I find the Malaysian BBQ pork is too soft, it doesn't take away the delicious taste of the dish.

I tried their laksa. It is thick and creamy, just the way I like my laksa broth, it can use a little bit more salt to pull the taste out more. The laksa has yellow noodle, tofu, fish balls, fishcake slices, and bean sprout. I added roast pork over BBQ pork amd hainanese chicken this time.

When you need something quick for your lunch or dinner, Chop Chop will please your tummy, only IF you can get a parking spot.

Probably the best roasted pork i have ever had in the cbd area. Roasted chicken and duck were yums too. Fried lotus was okay, the cuts a lil too thick, prefer thinner ones. Will definitely come back☺

This is great place to dine and have quick meal with friends and family. You pay for your order at counter so no need bill splitting later. Everyone pay own fare. Food is tasty and reasonable size serve. I can share my main with my 8 year old kid. If we order one dish each, kid ends up not finishing her plate or bowl of food.

This place serves the best chicken rice in Perth. Hands down! Their char siew and roast pork were out of this world. The chicken curry with noodles were one of my favourite dishes here. The staff were always smiley and friendly.

Food is nice. Malaysian style. The table is clean and neat. The service attendant can speak both English and mandarin very well.

A super cute small and busy place in the city to eat. The food is soo good and cheap, my meal arrived 3 minutes after paying and the staff are really welcoming and polite!

Great food, good sized portions and friendly service. I am going to try more options from here definitely. The sauces in the individual pots is great to get the taste the way you want it as well.
