Wonderful fish and chips , golden brown ! Other foods on the menu are just as yummy ! Really lovely family runs this shop . Lucky Kendall ! ps. Don't understand the reviews that judge ? They must have the wrong shop or just the nasty locals that have tall poppy syndrome !! Great takeaway !

Visited about five years ago and it was not great. Decided to go back in the last few months and have been very happy every time. Have been back many times since, and regret not going back sooner. As a local, I've tried them all. North Haven used to be the best, but the food has progressively gotten worse. Nellz Flips and Chips is very, very bad. Charcoal Chickenland is basic and not the freshest. As for fish and chip style takeaway (inclusive of burger options) this is the best in the area. I stipulate the burger part because the Fish Co-op in town would in all honesty do fish and chips the best.

This place serves fresh, quality ingredients. The burgers and fried food are not oily, which is the best part. They taste like fried food should, minus the grease running down your arm. I've tried all of the burgers, and all are actually really tasty and fresh with the right amount of ingredients. I've tried a few deep fried items and they've all tasted fresh and light.

I only review a place if it's either great, or if it's terrible - I don't bother reviewing average places. This place is definitely above average. Can't recommend it enough for the tourists who will visit soon.

As for the prices, I would say they are below average. A burger costs about $8-12, which is cheap given the fresh, quality ingredients.

Just had a fantastic take away from Fiona and Mark, the new owners at Kendall Take Away. The Hoki and chips were delicious and my son loved his chicken schnitzel, chips and gravy. It was so large he has saved some chicken for left overs. The service is top notch and all the team are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be returning.

THE HOT CHIPS ARE THE BEST WITH GRAVY AND WORKS BURGERS ARE ALSO GREAT BUT WISH THEY WERE BIT CHEAPER. OTHER TAKEAWAYS AROUND AREA CHARGE THEIR BURGERS MORE THOUGH.
