Loved staying here a couple of nights. The site is well maintained and there are toilets. If you are not physically able to walk up slightly steep dirt tracks just be aware that you may not be able to access the toilets. There are steps leading to the toilets if you are camped deeper in the camp site. There are designated fire pits in random spots across the camping area as well as trees that provide good shade. If you want to visit the creek I highly recommend walking back up the entry road that takes you into the camp site.
There's a slight bend in the road before the T intersection and on that bend (of the creek) you can access a fast flowing part of the creek with plenty of area to pull out a camp chair and relax. There has been a bit of rain off and on, but that's to be expected in the wet season. Also be aware that parts of the dirt road are pretty rugged for a sedan, I managed to get in pretty easy, but if you're not comfortable on dirt roads just be aware. There are also a few walking tracks around the place including one that takes you to a lookout. Enjoy!

Nice grassy and shady spots to be had in this medium sized relaxing camping area. Silky oak in bloom currently, so beautiful bird song all day. Really lovely spot. Bring drink water or treat. Walked some of the local track and it looks like pretty challenging 4wd. 30 mins to Gympie. Beautiful and peaceful location. Toilets accessed via uphill track, not too steep but maybe an access issue for some.

Great camp-site, clean, roomy.
Only downside on this visit was the toilet, it was clean but reeked. Still, it is worth a visit. Dog friendly as well.

A beautiful campground which was very green due to recent rainfall. The 2.2km walk was relatively easy. Enjoyed driving around to the lookout and surrounding country with my 4WD. Access from the south is easy, more difficult from the north.

Stayed here overnight. Cheap, not crowded, had a fire pit and allowed dogs. Toilets but not shower. Freezing cold late at night and slept in the car, in end of October. Felt safe, reasonably private and very peaceful. Unmarked police did a drive-by early evening. Would not recommend a tent unless December or January. As far as dog friendly camping sites this is one of the absolute best. And the view of the Milky Way late at night was unforgettable. Highly recommended.

My partner and I really enjoyed this spot. Quiet, calm amongst nature. Had a visit from the cows too which was nice. Tidy camp site. Loved our stay

Clean grounds, great area to explore with natural creeks, cliffs and hiking trails. Abseiling and rock climbing are only minutes away also. No showers but the toilets were fairly clean and accessible.

Great campsite. Toilets, fires and (non-drinking) water. Surrounded by quality climbing too.

The camp site was neat and tidy with well looked after toilets.
There was a lovely creek running through the site to cool off in at the end of the day and a short 2.2km bush walk.
10/10 would recommend

Great spot to chill out after a day of climbing the amazing sanstone cliffs that are only 10mins away. Toilets are clean and work well.

Awesome camp ground in dairy country.

Toilets need toilet brushes. Be prepared.

Will be back.

Lovely camping area, and especially with such good access to all the climbing crags. Provided everything we needed, especially for the price. A lot of choice for climbing in the area from beginners right through to advanced levels, and some pretty epic rappelling with incredible views. Definitely coming back!

Great little campground. The logical spot for climbing at Brooyar.
Has running water (non-potable), and a toilet facility.
Also some metal fire containers for having bonfires within.
A little creek runs beneath the campground as well. Can be nice for a dip if there has been recent rainfall.

I only visited but it looked like a lovely spot. The rangers were there doing regular maintenance and there were just a few campers and caravaners. It was a Monday so I expect it was busier over the weekend. Once leaving the main road at Glastonbury, half the road in to the camp was bitumen and the last half was well graded dirt. I noticed some hiking trails too. Point Pure Lookout is nearby and well worth the visit.
Cheers... Chris Mathers. Lowood QLD

Really enjoyable spot, the bog is fantastic by camp standards. Dogs are allowed, which is good for me.
There's no showers, potable water, bins, firewood or provision of any convenience aside from the toilet. This seems to cut out campers who stay up late and loud.

This is a nice camping area. I would be worried if it was at capacity because I think it is smaller than it looks. There were probably 5 or 6 other groups and not many fire rings. Dogs are also allowed which is nice but they need to be kept in leads. There are composting toilets and a small creek. No fresh waster is available the tap pumps from the creek
