Blackbirds Country Pies & Cakes

Sunday afternoon pies in Canugra. We had a potato and mince, curried pastie, pepper steak and a sausage roll. All were fantastic and we will definitely be back for more.

As a Patisserie Chef I'm pretty particular on my pastries. I would have to say that I have tried a wide variety of their products and I have nothing but praise. Great ratios and flavours, I must say that they have a much better product than across the road. You should definitely give them a go👍

The best pies around, they’re that good the first one drags you back in for another.

Such a quaint piece of Canungra. Had a home style, wholemeal vege pie and pot of tea, sitting with the mountains to the west and the warm sunshine on us, we left with long lasting energy for our bush walk!

We followed up with a lovely "real lemon curd" meringue tart and delicious vanilla slice!

We love an old fashioned bakery. I found the pies and sausage rolls to be big on flavour and absolutely adore their pineapple tarts. My kids also wolfed down the other slices we purchased.

Lovely variety of delectable Handmade health conscious pies and sausage rolls that cater for all! I miss coming to this pie shop, and it's uniquely formulated recipes. When I come back to visit, I'll definitely want to stop by and enjoy these delectable sausage rolls again. :)

WOW WOW WOW. Absolutely delicious pies. Stopped in for an early lunch. Filling, full of flavour with light and delicious pastry. Best pie I have had in Australia. Really lovely friendly service. We will be back for sure.

Fantastic pies best pastry ever and the owner is lovely. Try their Tasmanian salmon and scallop pies . Oh and their vanilla slice was to die for.

My favourite treat in the world is Pinapple Tarts. I buy one everywhere I can but noone makes them as good as Blackbird Cafe. I have been unwell recently and my darling husband drove from GC to Canungra today to buy their last two as a surprise. 💕

Finally a place with some vegetarian options .. I pigged our I got their asparagus cheese and corn, and their whole meal vegetable ... both where amazingly tasty and the best vegetarian pies I’ve ever had .. my partner got the steak bacon and cheese and said it was pretty good to.. then I finished off with a mixed berry apple pie ..

Perfect pies! Not oily at all, I also had a milkshake here and it was so thick and creamy🤤
