It was my first time visiting Leichardt Street dental last week for a routine check & clean. I was extremely impressed with how thorough Mihaela was. She's extremely passionate about her job and that made me trust her even more. She spotted a few potential problems and was onto them straight away.
The practice manager Odette was very friendly and empathetic, she made me feel at ease the moment I stepped through the door and throughout the whole process.
A gem of a team they've got here.

First time going to the dentist in 7 years.... was a little worried, however in the capable hands of Dr. Ximena Arellano, I had nothing to worry about, professional and friendly and pain free! along with her assistant and front desk support made for a very pleasant experience.

I went in for a checkup and cleaning. I found the staff pleasant, welcoming and made me feel relaxed and cared for. I felt comfortable in the chair and everything was explained to me clearly and without judgement. My teeth were cleaned thoroughly and all my questions were answered. I'll be back again 😁

I’m so used to dentists being rough with cleans, however Dr Sandra was so gentle, patient and explained every step during the process. It made the experience very comfortable .

The Pola whitening system they use must be developed for sensitive teeth because it was the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had when whitening my teeth in the chair. With my sensitive teeth I was prepared for intense zaps as this is what I usually bare through for whiter teeth. I felt at most 3 soft zaps and came out with teeth so white my shade went off their colour chart!

Overall so happy with my experience with Dr Sandra, Odette and the friendly staff. Keep up the great work guys!

I used to dread going to the dentist for a clean as I have super sensitive teeth. But Dr Mihaela Petrou was amazing! She had a trick up her sleeve to desensitise my teeth before the clean without giving me a needle. I did not feel a thing. It was comfortable and pain free and she was so gentle. I am now looking forward to my next clean.

This team is absolutely the best! From when you walk in the door they make you feel so comfortable. The lovely girl in reception is so nice and Barbara does such a great job and makes you feel so relaxed!! Can't recommend them enough!!

Dr Barbara is the best dentist I have had.

Amazing reception staff just so helpful and caring. Amazing dentist. I'm so grateful to have found this clinic. Such good advice given to my mum to help during her chemo treatment. In times like these seeing the right people makes a world of difference. We would travel as far as needed to continue to see this dentist and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Dr Barbara Szylkarski (I forgot to ask her how to correctly pronounce her surname), is like no other dentist I have visited . Not only is she warm and friendly but she shows genuine concern for your oral health issue and she's open-minded about alternative treatments and concerns you may have about certain options for your issue.

I have no fear of dentists but for someone who does, then Dr Barbara is for you. She explains the procedure she is about to perform on your tooth while she's doing it. She's so good, you won't even feel the needle when she injects your gum. You leave her dental practice, that has staff with excellent customer service skills, with a positive experience. You walk out wondering after countless fillings, extractions, crowns, bridges and teeth cleanings through the years -- where has she been all your life?

I've been going to Leichhardt Street Dental for about 2 years now. Like every other person, I was always trying to avoid going to the dentist. However each time I have visited, Barbara and her team have been amazing. I've had my fair share of dental issues in the last 12 months as well. From wisdom tooth removal, a root canal and fillings!! Bad luck right!?. However each time, the appointment was quick and easy. If you're looking for a dentist I couldn't recommend Leichhardt Street Dental more.

I’m a very anxious dental patient but felt absolutely minimal discomfort during the procedures, had rest breaks and I am very happy with the results.
Dr Barbara and assistant Megan are a great team. Their calm, gentle manner and easy coordination allowed me to relax and that‘s a first.

Had a fantastic experience! Dr Barbara was genuinely caring and was able to fix all the holes in my teeth. Everything looked new and modern. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family. Also there's parking which is a bonus.
