The perfect getaway, a seamless blend of South Australian history with modern conveniences. We stayed in winter and enjoyed sitting in the cosy lounge room in front of the wood-burning fire, appreciating the views of lush green rolling hills of the Eden Valley. The kitchen and bathrooms are incredibly well stocked and perfect for hiding away enjoying some local Barossa produce and wine. It really felt like a home away from home - although more luxurious! We stayed for a special occasion and plan to return each year when we can. Thanks to the Angas family who were lovely hosts.

Hands down the best accommodation we have stayed at. Luxuriously appointed, with just the right mix of old time charm and modern comfort. Generous floor plan with plenty of space for our family. Fully equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze and the AGA cooker takes centre stage. Great views over the farm and we stayed perfectly cool all day during a summer 40C day. The kids loved the flock of sheep that would visit each day to graze. Will be back again in winter.

Utterly breathtaking! JHA is one of the most relaxing and unique places to stay around the Barossa Valley. Wake up in the luxuriously transformed stone cottage to stunning views of the incredible Hutton Vale property. This is the ultimate escape!
Delicious farm grown produce available for all your supplies and make sure you enjoy a complimentary wine tasting of the estate grown, single vineyard wines. The Angas family are wonderful hosts. So welcoming and generous and a delight to sit and talk to. Highly recommend

Absolute luxury and serenity with unsurpassed views over the farm and vineyards. The fire is wonderful in winter and the outdoor shower is quite the experience! They have thought of absolutely everything you could need and more from the kitchen utensils to toiletries to the candles and the wines are divine. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

A wonderful place to stay. No need to close the blinds - wake up to an immense sunrise amongst the baa of a flock of sheep. Generously appointed including a rocking vinyl collection, JHA, perched in the pasture, is warm and super comfortable. A modern edition to an old stone silage store. Our two girls loved the serenity and the animals. Local produce provided including the succulent, spicy and seamless Huttonvale cuvées. Cook your eggs and bacon on the Aga in the morning and your Huttonvale lamb chops on the BBQ in the evening (with the oops onion & mint chutney). Zip across the paddocks to enjoy a chat and lingering Huttonvale wine tasting with the delightful Angas clan.
