5 min from Bendigo CBD is a great bush track system for mountain bike enthusiasts of all levels. There are short run tracks to develop skills and practice technical conditions as well as beginner options. For those more experienced there are longer tracks, hills, obstacle negotiation, speed practice and cardio development. Anyone can simply have a go. Good parking nearby and the suburb is supported by shops and cafes, all just down the road from the university too. Early morning rides are peaceful and a great time to explore

Such a great place to take the mountain bike! Trails run right along the gully and up around the reservoir. There is even a great pump track that can be accessed along Shakespeare St or Wattle Drive where you will find lots of free parking and a short circuit complete with logs, beams, a steep drop and a seasaw to test your skills. The Spring Gully General Store has great coffee for that kick before the ride and thw One Tree Hill Hotel has cold beer waiting for tou when you return. With sections to suit all levels this is a great spot to spend an arvo with mates, family or just solo.
