The front door can be difficult to find (around the corner and up the ramp - not on High Street) and after taking a number in the waiting room I had to wait 30-40 minutes to be seen, but the woman who took my blood was extremely kind, clear and professional. I usually feel quite anxious in these types of situations, but the woman helping me was very warm, comforting and made me feel safe. I wanted to show my gratitude through this review and thank her for her hard work! Your kindness really made a difference.

I had the the best experience here with Miss Jiyeon Kim! She was polite, and thorough throughout my visit.

Usually when I have a blood test, it takes more than once to get the needle in the correct place, or there is another device used because my vain isn’t too visible, or blood isn’t coming out.
However, Miss Kim took her time to find the correct placement and successfully drew blood the first time, and it didn’t even hurt!

I will definitely be returning in the future.

Made the experience so smooth and simple. After being poked and prodded by other, less experienced phlebotomists, the people at the Northcote clinic were ABSOLUTE PROS. In and out in under 5 minutes.

Great to see this convenient service re-open after being damaged due to fire. Jacqui was terrific - kind, professional and so gentle I didn't even feel the needle! So handy this service opens at 7.30am -:)

I've had two excellent experiences at Dorevitch Northcote when treated by Zarah – she is super professional, so lovely and – especially important for me who's sensitive with needles – is gentle and comforting.

they took the blood, job done. needle appeared sharp which is better than blunt and used. my blood was red. thanks.

Very poor experience this afternoon. The lady who saw me berated me for “having bad veins” when she missed the first attempt for a blood test. Then spent most of the appointment telling me I needed to be quick because they were about to close and the courier was waiting. There was nothing I could do to speed up the process and I arrived 20mins prior to closing. Would not recommend this pathology and will not be back

Went to Dorevitch Pathology on 02/04/2024 and both myself and other patients had a horrible experience with the lady behind the front desk. She was extremely rude and had zero customer service skills. I never leave reviews but I have never experienced anything like it before.

Went here on 7/11/22 at 4.21pm to be met with the rudest person ever, made it known they had closed and said it wasn’t urgent then told to come earlier or come tomorrow, then tried to make me feel bad by saying the nurse will have to stay back. I am really ill and did not need this, I asked for my form back as I felt so unwelcome.will never return here no matter how urgent the test is.

Poor service. People waiting in the the waiting room 8 capacity. A queue ourside. Noone was taken in for at least half an hr. One of the nurses arrived at 8.15 walked past the queue didn’t even smile or say good morning. These people work at a very go slow rate. I highly do not recommend.

Absolutely terrible service, the lady in the counter just could not be bothered with people, and as such should absolutely not be working with drawing blood from strangers for one.
Furthermore she just wanted me to shut up while in the room and after leaving urine samples there were no clear indication or signage where to leave the sample either in the toilet or reception.
Tried calling for staff but were ignored, and I had to shamefully leave the sample myself behind the reception desk in front of other patients.

Would not recommend anyone to go here, if by chance you get a referral to Dorovitch, I'd advise you try a different location.

Terrible! while I was in the room the lady told me I wasn't a baby so i shouldn't be scared of needles... i informed her i was going to pass out and she seemed so angry about it. She refused to let me lie down. Don't go here.
