IGA Northcote

What a great local store. I like to 'distribute my grocery money' and not solely rely on Coles and Woolies.
I try to shop here for many items. Specials are good and sometimes cheaper than Woolies and Coles. I think the produce such as fresh pasta, cheese and deli goods are priced competitively, and excellent quality. Fruit and vegetables are fresh. Some are quite cheap. Staff are helpful. Store is very clean.

Fantastic store. A true highest standard in the independents game. Immaculate presentation and very diverse, exotic range of products. A pleasure to work with. Looking forward to the future.

What you expect an independent supermarket in Northcote to be like. Lots of environmentally friendly products, boutique options. Prefer to shop here than anywhere in the plaza nearby. Great selection of ice cream.

My favourite IGA! Huge selection of both standard and specialist groceries. Deli counter has fantastic variety of meats and cheese, as well as vegan alternatives throughout the store. Soap/detergent package-free refill stand, grind your own coffee and package free grains available. Definitely worth a trip to add some variety to the repetitive Coles/Woolies shop.

Gluten-free vegetarian dim sims!!!!! Also refillable low-waste soaps and detergents.

Friendly staff and always great service! You will always find some good deals and for the size of the place the product range is excellent. (Surprisingly great selection of hot sauces 🌶🌶🌶🥵)

We go here a few times a week for any last minute items, including fresh food and beer/wine. The prices are similar to any small supermarket , the range is decent and the staff are ALWAYS on the ball and so lovely.

IGA Northcote has a huge range of FODMAP and gluten free products. I met the manager and he is passionate about giving people (like me) on restrictive diets choice.

For a smaller grocery, Northcote IGA delivery on quality. I'm vegan and can always get a range of vegan chocolate, cheeses, specialty snacks, sauces (vegan Siracha mayo is the bomb), liquid smoke etc. Their selection is really thoughtful and perfect for the hipsters of Northcote. Big brands are replaced by boutique ones (though you can still get big names if that's your jam).

Great little place

Great selection of random gourmet stuff, and I love that it is open on public holidays. The ice-cream selection is great, too :)

Steve and Jack supplied the beverage package for our wedding in Fitzroy. Their service, pricing and advice was outstanding. I could not recommend highly enough. Thank you gentlemen.

Really diversely stocked supermarket with a good range of high quality products. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Shop local, love local. All the brands not just ‘home’ brands.

Amazing supermarket for healthy eaters.There is really everithing you possibly want:even paleo and food map friendly products.In fact is the first shop where i have found several dip products without garlic or onions.Friendly staff as well.It is perfect!!!

5 stars purely to the pick and mix lolly section. Huge lolly fan right here and the range and taste of these lollys were off its head

The staff are very friendly so it feels like an old fashioned local grocer. I have never waited to be served and they have a great selection of goods.

Service levels are brilliant and they have a deceptively amazing range of products. The only catch is it’s pricy even for basic stuff.
