Northcote Bottleshop

Only discovered this place for the first time today. Had a long and interesting chat with Kitch about Whiskeys. He's super knowledgeable about his products and really friendly. It's not particularly local to me, but none the less, I will definitely come back here again as they have a really interesting product range to choose from and also priced very reasonably.

I like to dip in here quite often, and every single time I come in, the staff are so welcoming and nice. They have such a great range of boutique beers and wines and the staff are always happy to help when I need it. Truly an unpretentious place to get great spirits, wines and beers. I came in the other day to buy an unusual liqueur and the woman behind the counter not only showed me where it was, but came to me at the checkout with a specialty Christmas box with not only the liqueur I wanted but 2 extra glasses in a pack that came with it, for the same price! Service that deserves an internet acknowledgment, for sure!

Friendly local bottleshop, really nice selection of wines, great selection of beer! The owners really support local micro breweries and some further afield (I love Garage project beers from Wellington NZ). Very nice range of Sake and Japanese gins, whiskies.

This is my favourite bottleshop in Northcote.

I never write reviews, but I was so impressed by the service I got today, I thought it was worth writing one! The young fellow who was running the store helped me find a super rare drink I was looking for, and then asked me to pick three spirits I was interested in, and pulled them all out for a tasting for me and the other customers in the store, talking us through each of them and demonstrating an insane amount of knowledge. I walked out buying one of them! Fantastic customer service. Northcote is blessed to have these guys, Wine Republic and Harvest all in the same block or so.

Best bottle shop in Northcote. Gorgeous interior with a fantastic selection of wines (orange wines in stock, a multitude of them!) As well as the usual suspects and a good selection of spirits. The owners/employees are always delightful, well informed and incredibly helpful. Make this your go to bottle shop if you're after a nice gift or something delicious to sip on at home. Or even just a cheap bottle for a night with friends!

Really friendly and helpful people run/own this store. They have a good selection of craft beers for VERY good prices, and a few nice wines also that don't break the bank. My favorite bottleshop in Northcote hands down.

My favourite bottle store! Friendly staff, excellent customer service and the store layout is easy to navigate (and aesthetically pleasing hehe). Excellent selection of beverages including wines, beers, sake, shoju and spirits. You will be able to find your staples aswell as something new at ease (very reasonably priced). They provide tastings some days aswell. Make it your local or atleast the journey to check it out 6/5.

Went in for a quick bottle of wine. Amazed by how accommodating they were without being invasive. Had a great chat, little tasting. Didn't know a bottle run could be such a pleasant experience. First choice in Northcote by a mile!

I was walking down high street, Northcote, as I do many times because I just love the shops and I noticed this shop. I know what you're thinking, of course you noticed this shop because of the nice selection of alcohol. No, you're wrong, I'm not a big drinker, in fact I only ever drink on very special occasions. What really caught my eye was the interesting selection of wine glasses etc and other crystal interesting bits and pieces, for example, a very pretty crystal sugar bowel, which my mum would proudly display in her cabinet with her wide collection of Swarovski crystals. And it was also a pleasure to meet Kitch and Lily, mother and son team who own this, yes I will say it again, very interesting shop.☺

Had an impromptu beer and wine tasting session on my last visit, very generous and fun. Good prices compared to the other bottleos in the area. Will be back again!

Pretty decent bottle shop with some nice craft drinks, wine and Japanese whisky and Saké.
They can also offer advice on what to buy, what is good in their store and offer some tastings of various things. Cheers

Great range of beer wine and spirits - including a lot of different types of Sake that i'm working my way through - friendly service, good prices - recommended!!

Went to grab a bottle of red, was met at the counter with 2 generous tastings of a delicious whiskey and rum. Super helpful will come again for my weekend needs and and special Occassion drops! :)
