Her Majesty's Theatre

Very nice theatre. Comfortable seats and a good place to enjoy any show - rear stalls rows have restricted view of the top of the stage as the balcony above blocks it out. Stage only performances would be fine. Seats fold up to enable you to stand to allow others to pass to their seats easily. Staff and ushers are friendly and helpful and amenities are clean. Recommend.

I love every theatre layout or experience! It's always fun to get outta the house and enjoy a show and some talent the way the stage presented is always different with what your watching. But her majesty layout, reminds me of a court room when I went to Canberra but feels like we are all close the the stage so it's nice.

Went to see Chicago great musical, great old theatre. Staff were very friendly. Only grumble is being an old theatre there is not much room between rows and one of my friends was a very tall man, luckily he had an isle seat.
The Elephant and Wheelbarrow pub is on the corner if you want a meal or drink before or after the show. Great English pub.

Superb sound and great seating arrangement. Personnel are very helpful and polite. They help you to take pictures of yourself inside the theater. Clean toilets too. Will go back to this amazing venue to watch my favorite shows.

It's a beautiful old theatre. The seating is comfortable & there are plenty of aisles, so people are not trying to squeeze past 50 people in your row.
Coffee, alcohol, choc tips available.
All the Ushers are well mannered & very helpful.
It's a very old building, but I wish they could add 1 extra disabled toilet & 1 extra ladies toilet section. The men don't have to queue!!
However, it is a beautiful theatre.

What a great experience. This is a must see when you come to Melbourne. "Chicago" - the whole performance & cast did an amazing job & the orchestra just makes it.

My mother and I went to see Chicago yesterday.( matinee ) My mum is 84 and loves the theatre but has a bit of trouble getting about and is on a walking frame . Stupidly I had purchased dress circle tickets . With no elevators , I explained my problem to ‘Zara’ . Zara ( and all the staff ) went above and beyond to help us and was able to swap tickets so we could sit in the stalls. She helped mum to her seat and had her frame ready and delivered at the end of the show . Absolutely brilliant customer service and thank you so much Zara . I hope this finds you !

Just wow! We were blown away by Chicago at Her Majesty's Theatre. The grandeur of the venue itself is impressive, but the performance truly stole the show. Captivating music, stunning dance numbers, and top-notch acting made for an unforgettable night. Highly recommend catching a show at this historic theatre!

Beautiful theatre. Comfortable seats. Don't skimp on the tickets and get too far back as the balcony above really obstructs the stage. Great, helpful staff. We saw Miss Saigon and were really impressed...a huge show with incredible talent.

Always good to see a show at Her Majesty's. Good location around the corner from China Town and drink prices are really quite reasonable. Comfortable seats and friendly staff are a bonus.

Cosy Theatre with intimate feel.Thoroughly enjoyed the Chicago show. Staff all helpful, queues moved quickly. Will be back next time visiting Melbourne. A great night out

Such a magical experience down memory lane seeing Grease. The ambience of the theatre made it extra special.

OMG one of the best ever performances at Her Majesty’s Theatre with the Mary Poppins production! I got a middle seat in the Dress Circle (second floor) and it couldn’t have been better than that! The cast is sooo talented, their voices in total harmony and the dancing, tapping and tricks of the show are mind blowing! Lovely bar and plenty of quality things to choose from for munchies and drinks! Do not miss the last shows!!!!

Great little theatre. Miss Saigon, a fantastic show. We enjoyed every minute. Wonderful performance.

Grease was a Great show...but why didn't Sandy and Danny wear their iconic clothes for the end song. All fans would expect so.

Great venue for live shows, intimate and close to the action from anywhere you sit

Saw Mary Poppins with kids . Loved it .
Best seats are 22-26 or that row infact on the dress circle . Bit congested but then it’s very old theatre , that should not be even a complain .

Loved the old look , different experience for everyone to try .

Lots of lovely restaurants Close by. Plenty of paid parking also available next door.
