Chatkora's | Best Indian Restaurant In Melbourne

Was recommended to go here as we don't eat a lot of Indian food. This was a great experience. Hygienic, clean and dishes not common in Melbourne Indian restaurant. Freshly cooked and heaps of desserts. The staff are humble and very helpful. Lots of parking available and it is highly recommended.

A fun spontaneous trip in Laverton, we were feeling hungry so looked up restaurants around the area. Really glad we came across Chatkoras, yummy food (caters to veg and vegan) really affordable, friendly staff and cool restaurant decor. Highly recommend visiting.

Great restaurant for North Indian food. Love the variety. Service was a bit slow. Tikki chat and saag were great.

Missed our indian food so bad. But thanks to chatkoras , the food here is so yumm . And we got that desi -svaadh too.We tried the authentic foods like gol gappa,vada pav,pav bhaji.

Quality food with good sweets options. Had the best fresh jalebi which is my favourite. The king thali that’s been trending on instagram is roughly for 4-5 people so can’t wait to bring my friends here.

Finally tried hindustani thali. Every dish tastes delicious. Can’t pick one favourite. Staff was helpful and humble. Definitely coming back.

I was purely amazed by what I have experienced. I can't believe that this all started from a truck, and now is a high end, 100% vegetarian restaurant. The atmosphere and the environment that they have created was amazing and one of the best I have been to. The customer service was great, with there always being someone to aid you in your food desires. The cutlery and serving dishes were of a high quality and looked astehitcally pleasing. The food was the best part however, it would look and take like authentic Indian street food. The amount of parking space was abundant and close by the restaurant. The host was welcoming and charismatic, and was very humble. The delicious food only took 5 minutes, which is miniscule compared to other vegetarian restaurants. The music amplified the feeling of the place, the sound system was perfect and gave me the full feeling of an Indian restaurant.
I would greatly recommend stopping by, since once you go, you will not be able to resist the food.
