Weipa Fishing Adventures

This is not a review about catching fish after fish. It's about the guys at Weipa fishing adventures doing evrything possible to give their customers an opportunity to catch those fish. Firstly Dave is an outstanding host.
The accommodation is excellent and Dave and his family will go out of the their way to ensure your u are happy and comfortable.
We just spent a week at Weipa and while we didn't catch hundreds of fish our guides Michael and Dan and couldn't have done an ounce more to put us onto more fish. I've been fishing the top end for over 20 years and have seen the best and the worst when it comes to guides. These two blokes are top shelf. Highly recommended for both novices and more experienced fishos.

Can't rate this charter highly enough. Mick was a great straight forward bloke, extremely knowledgeable about the area and how to target certain species. Taught me alot about fishing and got us on to alot of great fish. Thanks for getting me onto my first barra mate 👍 great fresh rolls for lunch and a good laugh and heap of fun all day. Will definitely go with Weipa fishing adventures again next time we are up the cape.

If you love fishing do yourself a favour and experience a fishing charter with Dave and Michael not only will you catch awesome fish but will learn so much about fishing from these guys even if like most fisherman you think we are experts. We had Rain like i had never seen before for 3 of our 5 days and these guys never flinched just kept busting their buts to allow us to catch fish. the price is very reasonable and the meals are simple but delicous. My father is a regular will WFA and encouraged me and my brothers to join him for a trip and had so many laughs with these guys and memeroies we will share forever. Better start saving for next time

Great options on where to fish, have been twice and will be an annual fishing trip. Always catch plenty of fish. Yummy lunch options, as you don’t have to eat bread . You can make up a salad on a plate with super fresh salad . This year was special as my ( now Fiancé) , Newmo and Michael ( and our best friends)help arrange a surprise engagement. I had no idea. Champagne, strawberries and I caught an engagement ring.. under the guise of a guarantee “Finger Mark” ( type of Snapper) 😂. Thanks heaps see you again 2020.
