Far North Fishing Weipa

This is the best fishing charter we have been on for outcome and enjoyment. My husband and I spent 4 amazing days out with Kayden. He is a brilliant guide who is extremely knowledgeable and an all round good guy. We were put on the fish constantly and got fantastic hauls each day! Do not go with any other fishing charter whilst in Weipa.

Top bloke! Great host and certainly knows all the best spots around Weipa and on the Cape!

I really wanted to add to my previous review from a couple of years ago, so I have edited it and you can see the update below:

I have just returned from Weipa (yet again) after another successful charter with Far North Fishing!
Every year I go back, I am just blown away by the service we receive from the moment we arrive until the moment we step back on the plane. This year I took a group of six good friends up and we had the privilege of being guided by both Kaidyn and Baiden. These young lads really know their stuff and are such a pleasure to be around... a great operation, fronted by two fantastic guides!

The accommodation and service, particularly from what seemed to be our very own private chef (Sean) was world class and really added to our overall experience! Exceptional food, service and hospitality!

We cannot recommend Far North Fishing highly enough and we have already re-booked for the same time next year!

I highly recommend Far North Fishing Weipa. I have been on many fishing and hunting trips with the Kurt and the Far North Fishing Team. They are great people that will go above and beyond to share their amazing backyard.

Me and my Two sons have done trips with Far North Fishing the last 2 years running and we’re planning another This year. Kurt was great and he really knows his stuff and is a good bloke. We caught plenty of fish and had a great time. I couldn’t recommend this company enough.

If fishing with Far North Fishing Weipa wasn’t on your bucket list, it should be now! We make the annual trip to Weipa solely because of Kurt and his team. Not only is Kurt the most experienced guide I have been with, he is also a bloody great fella.

Kurt is an excellent guide who is happy to cater for what fish you want to target. His knowledge of the area at times to fish in unmatched in Weipa. One most enjoyable part of the experience was how excited he got when people were catching fish and the general laughs all round. Far North Fishing Weipa are the only guides to use!

The best fishing I've ever done is with Kurt and the crew at Far North Fishing Weipa. Whatever the timeframe, target species or weather, these guys ensure we meet our goals and tick them off the bucket list every time.

Wow what a great fishing trip. Got picked up from Weipa camp grounds and taken to the boat in the morning. Boat was clean and amazing. Plenty of room as well and even given a ice cold esky to use. Our guide Baiden was excellent and had so much information. Great to talk with and easy to get along with. His knowledge for the local area was second to none and knew all the best spots to put us on. You could tell he has done plenty of homework. Highly recommend them and him as a guide!! Thankyou for fitting us in and Thankyou Baiden for the great trip and tips!! Ask for him if you can!

After doing a trip with Far North Fishing Weipa I can honestly say it was an experience of a lifetime and one I'll never forget. Great not just for the amazing fishing in remote and unspoiled areas but also for the knowledge and experience shared. Should be on every fisho's bucket list.

If your ever planing on going out fishing in wepia I couldn’t recommend these boys any more, baiden was awesome and I have never had more fun fishing in my life, he was very friendly and a great bloke and helped myself and my old man out fishing, very organized and the boys went above and beyond with not only organizing the trip but the hole experience. Thank you boys for a great time and can’t wait to be back up there again fishing with you guys,

Being a Weipa local I wanted to give my mates from Tassie the best local experience and wasn’t disappointed….. from the communications from Jaime and Kurt regarding our needs prior to the trip, the food, the boat set up and most of all the fishing guide. Was a great day with plenty of fish including a 12kg trevally, we couldn’t have been happier.

Another quality charter. Can't wait for the next trip. There are a few cowboy charters in fnq that we have been on. This is not one of them. Highly recommend.

Great half day out with captain Kaden, had a ball and got a good mix of fish, new his way around and put us in some good spots. Very good people to deal with, couldn’t be more helpful would recommend this charter to anyone.
