Just had the most delightful breakfast at Fonzie! The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend for a relaxed morning treat!

We had our 2023 Christmas party at Fonzie Abbott and I cannot thank them enough for the excellent experience and service they provided. Leah the events manager went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, and remained flexible (and incredibly patient) as our plan and numbers changed multiple times. Andrea provided excellent service and was so friendly and helpful on the night. The food was divine and the bar staff amazing. We were originally supposed to be outside but the weather had other plans. The inside cafe area was the ideal location for our group of 60. Music requests were catered to and our round of shots were awesome. Thanks Fonzie Abbott team, you made our Christmas party a huge success

I was pleasantly surprised to find plenty of parking spaces, making it hassle-free to get there. The coffee, with its delightful design, was the perfect companion to our meal.

We stopped in to Fonzies this morning for breakfast. Super friendly staff seated us and brought glasses and water out. We ordered and paid via the easy to use q code on the table but they also offered us the convenience of table service! 👍🙂
We thoroughly enjoyed our Eggs Benedict with bacon and a large Vanilla Latte.

Not very often that you can have both a distillery and roastery in the same place ! Unfortunately, didn’t have time to taste the gin , but it looked good.
All the small touches are here ; nice and cozy , opposite a lovely sports ground ( drinks and coffee after game !) and obviously a local institution.
When my friend and I walked in we were seated and greeted promptly. Quite a bit of seating , but can imagine when it’s busy it gets full quickly . They premises with a barber , which is an innovative idea . You also sit upstairs which has a lovely park view .
We both had coffees, which were a lovely dark roast and I tasted chocolate undertones. My friend ordered the beef brioche burger, which was amazingly juicy with so much flavour , and a wonderfully sweet bbq sauce ( she gave me a little of the meat ) It also came with chips which also surpassed expectations. Best burger she’s had for a long time .
I ordered a gluten free pizza - which was aptly named La Fonz ( reminiscent of the Happy Days
era ) - the base was lovely , fluffy and crunchy with big slivers of Parmesan and stretchy mozzarella, and large fine slices of prosciutto.
So big I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting, but they gave me a take away box , so I had dinner that night .
Apparently there’s also live music here - the atmosphere is similar to what I imagine and American bar is like , lots of wood , long tables and the smell of bbq sauce.
If I lived locally would definitely be back again , especially to try the Gin .
A “relaxing into the weekend “ kind of vibe .

Pizza was good, the cinnamon bun toasted is just awesome. Prices very reasonable and the staff very helpful in ordering and suggestions. Location is great. Worth a visit.

Ery, Andrea and their staff are always welcoming, friendly and take time to talk to their customers making them feel at ease, great coffee and delicious food served at Fonzies on Fox Street, making this a great place for a quick take away or stay drink and eat in.

Really glad I stumbled across this hidden gem while running a few errands around town this morning!! All the staff were super lovely and helpful with the menu. I really enjoyed my almond and croissant and my lovely latte this morning but I’m very keen to come back in future to see what other delicious looking items they have. Nice coffee, food, and staff! We visited in the morning and was met with quite a busy and bustling atmosphere. We were initially worried about seating but we went outside where there was an online & contactless order and payment system! When the food and the coffee arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality, presentation and most importantly, the great blend of flavour that it provided. Both the coffee and food were excellent. Definitely worth the visit and would definitely recommend it to a friend! 😊🙏

This place is totally legit! I can’t believe I stumbled upon it instead of finding it on the map! The coffee is fantastic as expected. I had a Buddha Bowl which at first seemed like there wasn’t ‘much to write home about’ but the more I was eating it the better it got. It was delicious and a decent size.
The staff is very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Absolutely recommended!!

Customer service was exceptional, from every staff member we encountered and saw helping other people.

The food was really good, I had an avo smash with goats cheese and poached eggs for breakfast.... delicious. My wife has the field mushrooms dish and again tasty. Portion sizes were great.

The coffee was exceptional. So much so that I bought a bag of beans as we left (and you get a free takeaway coffee when you buy beans).

In case you didn't know, Fonzie's is not just a coffee roaster, but also has a craft brewery and distillary. So, I also splurged on a small 60ml bottle of strawberry gin to take home that they make onsite. I'm not a gin drinker but it was good.

Looking forward to going back with friends for some drinks and bar food.

Great coffee ! Nice atmosphere and location opposite large sports fields. Parking a bit difficult but worth the good coffee and ability to wait outside in the sunshine for my takeaway coffee.

A wonderful laid back and rustic little bar and brewery. Fonzie abbott has really reinvented itself from coffee roasters to beer brewers! Great outdoor seating area and upstairs private room. Amazing selection of bar food on offer - you must simply try the molten cheese dip, it is delicious! The charcuterie board is great value and was the highlight of our night. Staff are friendly and attentive - a big shout out to Stewart with his amazing service and putting up with our music requests. Easy to get to with a bus stop right outside and plenty of street parking. My new favourite place in the area to catch up with friends!

Excellent coffee roaster. Cold brew, frappe machine (like a coffee slushee, fantastic for Brisbane's heat), good flat white & iced latte. There's a fridge with previously bottled single origin cold drip and sweetened iced coffees to grab and go. High seats along the window are comfortable, the baristas are experienced and helpful.

Really amazing breakfast😊 I had an Eggs bene with smoked salmon, very appetizing food,hollandaise sauce was nicely seasoned, they served a bottle of pressed juice from impressed which was yumm😊 prompt service being a busy looking house. Keep it up.

I've been going to fonzie for years and always thought the coffee was pretty mid, but the vibe, service and locality kept me returning. Today I went for a little takeaway coffee at 2pm (as it's hard to find somewhere else decent at that time to get one) and was astonished to taste the best coffee I've ever had. New beans...? World's greatest barista...??? Regardless, I was very impressed and urge everyone else to go down and try it out. Hopefully this review stands the test of time. Til next time fonz, i'll be dreaming about you.
