Fantastic staff and good food

Staff were friendly, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, food was nice, a good place for a catch up with a friend

Menu and pricing is at the higher end of dining and boasts high quality local ingredients.
I found my meals to be far from this, it appears to me that this restaurant is under poor management and it is having a flow down effect through to its staff.
Number one give away for this is when waiters don’t ask how your meals are/were as they are too often told that the meals were average.
It seems that other dinners were also not enjoying meals or disputing bills.

If you are staying at the Rydges make the effort to go elsewhere.

Service was alright. Was given a complimentary bite. Main dish was a wagyu rump. Ordered medium rare, got medium well. Priced at $44 with a 20% discount, an overcooked rump garnished with 3 baby tomatoes isn't worth it in any time, space, or reality. Perhaps in a different currency.

Bad service and tough steak. Would not recommend.

Waited in the bar for 5 mins, no service, left.
