George’s Diner

Lovely little nostalgic themed diner. Kids enjoyed the old diner look. We had a simple meals of fish, chips, scollops and onion rings. It is a touch pricy at $10 for a large plate of chips and similar for scollops and onion rings.

But you have to remember this is a town 45mins from a major supplier or supermarket.

I recommend the drive there to check out the place if you are in Arlie for a holiday.

Try stopping off at Brandy Creek falls on the way for a swim in the waterpool and a scenic view the waterfall which runs Nov/Dec-Apr/May most years.

We went to Conway just to have a look. Then I got surprise to discover this little gem. It’s a such a good idea to make a nice place like that and the caravan park looks amazing too.
We got really happy to come here then decide to have break for lunch.
The staff is friendly, the food is good with a fair price.
Then we had a stroll by the camping and everything was looking great and clean 🤩

Great 50s themes cafe along the Qld coast. Part of the big 4 caravan holiday park. Food was amazing and drinks too. Petrol and amazing service was here as well.

George's Diner at Conway Beach near Airlie Beach is bloody amazing. Look's like you've stepped into an American movie set in the 60's. The food was perfect, We had Burger's,chips and milk shakes. Definitely didn't know it existed untill we drove in to the caravan park but definitely recommend it to everyone. 11 out of 10.

Georges Diner, Conway Beach - What an amazing hidden gem, took me back to my 2014 Route 66 tour, very authentic diner with lots of memorabilia. Food & service was excellent as was the atmosphere-:)

Found at Conway Beach within a Big4 caravan Park is a little diner that takes you back in time to another country. The 1950s theme and all the American memorabilia made the experience of our lunch well worth the 35 minutes drive from Airlie Beach.
The food was abundant and very tasty. The service was great, the staff were efficient and friendly and we got our meals within 10minutes.
Definitely include in any trip to the Whitsundays.

This place was awesome feels like you have just stepped back into the fifties We got the loaded fries and it was a meal for 2 of us absolutely awesome Plus you can buy Retro tins too

Out of this word setting with the delicious Burgers , service and friendly staff and boy do you have to try the waffles. A must share dessert after such a good meal

What can I say, the cheeseburger. Best burger I have ever had and prices are so cheap you have to see it to believe it. Will be back

All of Conway Beach is a hidden treasure but Georges would be the jewel in the crown. Friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices, but the diner itself is worth the drive. Brilliantly decorated in old school American diner memorabilia. Its part if the Big4 caravan camping grounds, and they look a treat. So clean and the bright colours add a festive feel. A lot of effort has been put into making this a must do/see part of your next holiday. CHECK IT OUT.
