BIG4 Conway Beach Tourist Park Whitsundays

We stayed at this wonderful park for 3 nights on a powered site. Leanne and Chris were so welcoming and both had a great sense of humour. This park is so beautifully maintained in every sense from lawn mowing, amenities, rubbish bins (spotless), not to mention the lovely 50’s diner where the food is fantastic. Just a short stroll down to the ocean and you can walk for ages along the beach overlooking the Whitsundays… we’ll be back!

The service was excellent from the lady who took our order. One of us was genuinely lactose intolerant so she ensured the food they had didn’t have any. The food came out quickly, was piping hot and delicious. Great location if you have kids, as it’s close to the beach, great play park nearby. Well worth the visit!

The most stylish and cleanest caravan park I have come across so far in my travels, the managers are amazing and super friendly. I loved loved staying here. Amazing fishing frim the beach which is only 150 meters walk. Quiet peaceful and not over populated.
Awesome job by all staff and I couldn't really find fault with the facilities. Oh forget to mention the cleanest bbqs I've ever seen.

We had a great stay at this lovely park. So clean and big sites. They Managers are lovely including their dog Sunday 💗. Highly recommended 😊😊

Beautiful location and great facilities. We loved the 1950’s diner - so much character; great food and reasonable prices. Definitely coming back :)

We visited this location to show our Kiwi friends Georges Diner & have lunch there. Service was great, Food was lovely & we were amazed at how quickly we received our lunch, thank you.

We haven't been staying at the tourist park but just accidentally came across this fantastic cafe / restaurant and were impressed with the service, quality of burgers and amazing decorations. It's the last thing that you would expect to see in this small town with the beautiful beach. I wish something like this existed in Brisbane.

Not far to Conway Beach and 20 mins from Proserpine, and then back on Shute Harbour Road to Airlie Beach.

A fantastic stay. Staff were extremely accommodating on arrival when there was a small issue with my room. They also allowed me both an early check in and slightly delayed check out. 5 star for sure!

This was my first stay since the caravan park became a Big4. We had a great time here and will definitely be going back in the future. We stayed in a cabin that was very close to both the pool and water park. The pool is a generous size it could do with a shade sail to provide a little shade during the hotter times of the day. Otherwise, it's a great pool. The water park is fantastic, a great setup, especially for the younger kids. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beach is only about 200m from the park, which is also great. I rate it at 5/5 stars.

Fantastic caravan park, very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed how peaceful it was and it even has a retro diner attached. The owners / managers go to alot of effort putting on fin nights like bingo etc.

Had a great week camping at this park. Nice and peaceful with clean and tidy amenities. Fishing was great and the lovely couple working at the park were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend as a nice getaway!

Beautiful and colourful park , spotless grounds ammenties are spotless as well , well maintained and management are freindy and easy to deal with .

They had a music day a chap was playing the guitar 🎸 and signing sounded awesome.
Have a walk along the beach or relax at your site .
Have a train rides for kids around the park .

Arrived at Conway's Beach caravan park, very impressed by cleanliness and friendliness of managers and staff. Originally only staying for 2 nights, but because of road closures stayed on for 7. Couldn't of been stranded in a nicer place. Hamburgers from Georges are fantastic. Pizza night is Saturday night and were delicious, only thing missing was anchovies 😂 A great place for the whole family, so much there for everyone. Steph was amazing in keeping us up to date on road closues. Would definitely recommend this park to everyone. 🙂

Simply a must for a planned get away, spent a weekend here and felt totally relaxed and comfortable. Located in a quiet location with the beach only 2 or 3 hundred metres away. They have pizza night every Saturday and staff are very accommodating. The train they run for kids comes twice a day and is an absolute hit for them which they do with no charge. Will definitely go back.

This place is great stay with kids and for the fisherman with prossie boat ramp only a short drive

Stayed at BIG4 Conway Beach with family and the kids and adults has an absolute blast in the new water park and pool, so much better than the old one.
Facilities are spotless, staff very friendly and the best burgers at George’s Diner.
So impressed we have booked to come back next year.

Have just spent 2 weeks at this lovely caravan park. Very well laid out and distinctly quirky by its nature, having adopted a 50s and 60s theme.
Dog friendly - an absolute bonus.
Conway Beach itself is a very quiet place, beach is fantastic for running the hounds about.
A nice, pleasant and relaxing time. 😀😀
