Can’t fault it here. Lovely location in the gardens, ample seating, lovely food, outstanding coffee. The avocado smash was outstanding. Beautifully composed and really delicious. The coffee is a good as I’ve had anywhere. Good beans and just expertly brewed and presented. This place was recommended to us as one of the best places to breakfast in Brisbane. Smashed avo on sourdough was highly recommended. Generous spread of avocado which tasted so nice. What a breakfast under such a scenery and calm botanical garden. With a capsize of hit cappuccino, it was out of the world. 5 stars

Beautiful surroundings, staff are super helpful, approachable and friendly and the food was top drawer considering the little shop it operates out of....
Great experience also with the local lizards and the pesty Ibis birds....

I love that The Gardens Club cafe is part of a social initiative of the Wise Foundation and strive hard to provide a community facing barriers to employment such as refugee and asylum seekers. I love knowing that coming here is one way I can support such beautiful community initiatives. Apart from that, it’s such a charming cafe set amidst the luscious greenery of the botanical gardens. Please be patient and kind to the staff. The orders might take a little longer and there might be mistakes. We all have to start from the beginning at some point but we can always choose kindness and compassion. Ps. Highly recommend their hot chips and smoothies from the menu which are both 10/10.

Perfect coffee ☕👌🏼 and the chocolate muffin was alright. The staff were friendly too. Love this cafe, especially the outdoor seating surrounded by the lush gardens 🍃🌲🌳

Heading to the Gardens Club Cafe in Brisbane City Botanic Gardens with my husky Lucas is a treat. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing break after our strolls through the beautiful inner city brisbane gardens along the brisbane river. With its convenient opening hours from 7 am, seven days a week, it's great for both weekday and weekend morning visits. Definitely a go to place for anyone seeking a picturesque setting in Brisbane for brekky and coffee, oh yeah and pet friendly too. Cheers, Bernie.

I’ve photographed a bunch of events and weddings at The Gardens Club now and it never disappoints. The venue offers multiple ceremony options - both outdoors amongst the beautiful gardens as well as inside the heritage cottage. Super lovely. We arrived towards the end of the day and were famished. Staff gave us extra cake. So kind. Despite being near closing time we were not made to feel rushed when they were stacking chairs away, quite the opposite. The guy tidying up even got us some cutlery and told us to take our time. Wonderful experience. The Rocky Road and nutty balls were delicious and the setting is like something out of a rom-com movie ... idyllic date destination. Hard to believe you're in the middle of a city especially when the rainforest walk is just a few steps from this cafe. Overall such a positive experience made so mainly by the kindness and friendliness of the staff towards us. It was our first visit, but now it won't be our last. Thank you! 😊 🍰

We had our wedding yesterday at the Gardens Club and we couldn’t fault it. With the help of
Jess and the team, it was a seamless and stress free day. The building and surrounds have the most magical atmosphere, like actually being in a rainforest but with the convenience of being in the CBD. We would one hundred percent recommend The Gardens Club for any event! Thank you ❤

Triple A experience, great food, solid service. The Botanical Gardens is definitely the greatest part about this, beautiful plants and trees left right and centre. The food was a close second, and the big breakfast was definitely a good buy. Prices weren't too bad, and a perfevt way to spend a Sunday morning after a decent ride on the bike.

Excellent food and so lovely to sit within the Botanic Gardens. Really enjoyed the avocado on toast and will be back to try out the banana bread!

I didn't come here for a culinary experience. My visit was more to be surrounded by lush tropical greenery as I sit and enjoy a hot drink. The ambience is one of the best that I have been to in Brisbane because of the magnificent botanical garden environment. It is easy to strike up a conversation, if you are so inclined, as I am, in this natural setting. There's something about being in nature that feels vastly removed from the clinical and sterile vibe that permeates city venues. I recommend The Gardens Club to anyone seeking refuge from the imposing, industrialised ambience of the busy city. I intend to return again and again for a morning coffee (and to try a breakfast here) now that I have discovered the relative tranquillity of this magical treescape.

Called here during the lightscape. Great food and excellent hot chocolate and chai latte. Worth the stop. Still open at 7:30.

My favourite brunch cafe in Brisbane.

Amazing location set in lush green almost rainforest on the edge of the City Botanic gardens. Near QUT and the upper part of Riverstage.

No parking but a great place to walk or cycle to. It’s also possible to drop off frailer passengers or wheelchairs at the turnaround at the top of QUT only about 20m from the cafe.

The food is breakfast fare and I find it very good. I particularly enjoy their eggs Benedict with bacon, halloumi and or avocado. My vegetarian partner finds good veggie options and often enjoys a nice pot of tea or chai.

The service is good. I think some of the staff are learning their trade but always seem attentive and helpful.

Sitting outside in the wonderful lush shaded gardens ambiance and enjoying brunch or a cuppa after a bike ride is one of my ideas of heaven.

Had our afternoon engagement party here and couldn't be happier. The service team were impeccable and Jess the event manager was wonderful - professional, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we and our guests had a great time. The batch cocktails were fantastic and went so quickly! We highly recommend the Gardens Club as an event venue.

A beautiful spot for a quick chia late & absolutely divine fruit bread that was a great sweet treat for only $5.00.
I witnessed a Kookaburra steal a ladies chips right off her plate. She looked quite perplexed. Great scenery.
