One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been. Everything was perfect. Amazing flavours and attention to detail. Wish I had more space in my stomach

So glad to finally experience dining at Masu Izakaya. I consider the best Japanese cuisines I’ve had (& since recently fine dining in Tokyo last year! ). We ordered a few course and each dish served was such a delight.. all were absolutely delicious! Upscale dining/food in a relaxed setting.

Would highly recommend this restaurant - probably one of the best Japanese in Brisbane! The food is obviously prepared to absolute perfection and each meal looked stunning. The service was also incredible and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth your money! 😚🤌

My favourite cuisine is Japanese and this is the best Japanese in Burleigh even Gold Coast. It compares to Kiyomi without the price tag. The cocktails are excellent which was a great surprise and every dish I’ve tried is fantastic. The fish quality is excellent as I love sashimi and their service is warm and professional every time I visit. My husband and I are quick diners and normally want all the food to come out quickly and we’ve never been waiting extensive periods for a dish. This is definitely a new favourite of ours.

Visitor from Sydney, service was very attentive. Food was sooo good …I highly recommend the tuna tartare. Will definetely come back again if I’m ever in town again.

Really a hidden gem ! Surprise to me with such high quality dishes and really enjoyed our Omakase experience. After the meal, one can go on and walk along the beach is such a pleasant experience. Adding onto my favourite restaurants list.

We took a long time to choose from the menu because everything sounds too delicious. The chef told us their recommendation and it was very helpful.

I like every dishes we ordered but Wagyu nigiri with Foie gras which is the chef’s recommendation and Ebi to Hotate Age are new in to my favorite list!
They are a kind of fusion of Japanese food. Great match of interesting flavors.
I know tastes of preference are different for each person and it happens often that Japanese people like the taste but others don’t. Of course, happens opposite situation. But I believe everyone would like them.

Another of my favorite is pickled ginger which was on the side of sashimi and rolls.
It's homemade! I feel they have a strong and real thing meticulously on their dishes.

We got drinks waiting a long time as the staff forgot to serve them sometimes but I also forgot we hadn't got them yet actually because I got engrossed in delicious food.

I had a wonderful night.
I will definitely come back soon!

How did I only just find out about this place. Been here twice in the last month and honestly can not fault anything. The food is incredible and the service is spectacular. Say hello to your new regulars!

Wonderful service with a superb meal. We loved everything about our meal. The flavours were of a delicate complexity that had our taste buds soaring. Don't miss this low key gem with a wonderful authenticity to it. Cheers

Exceptional! The service from the entire staff and the food were phenomenal and I would give a 6 if I could. Everything was perfect from the cold sake to the plates. Pictured are tempura bugs, fresh oysters, hamachi sashimi, tuna tacos, octopus carpaccio, gyu tataki, eel, chefs special beef and fois gras and dessert of yuzu panna cotta with red bean ice cream, crumb and matcha dust...OMG 100% off the charts delicious for the whole lunch. Thank you Greg, Kieran, and the wonderful Chefs.

Enjoyed dinner with friends at Masu last night. The food was amazing and the service was brilliant. The wait staff deserve a pay rise and are a credit to the business. The prices were fair as well. Cannot recommend this awesome Japanese restaurant enough.

Impeccable. Chef Hizola's reputation precedes him and he fully delivers at Masu. The tuna tartare with crispy rice has an awesome balance of texture and flavour and the tempura Morton Bay bug is light, crispy and battered to perfection. The yuzu margarita was a great addition. Excited to come back and try more!

Had a great night out here for my wife’s bday.
Had a few issues changing numbers of attendees over the week and the restaurant was only to accomodating. The food was sensational, service was top notch and all was fairly priced.

The food and service was fantastic, could not recommend highly enough to friends. It was a great evening trying some new foods and some tasty drinks!

Truly exceptional! You can tell it's made with love and the highest quality ingredients. I've been to a few restaurants around the world including Nobu Malibu/LA/Melbourne and I dare say Masu might even beat some Michelin starred ones. Everything was so beautiful and tasty! Must try ❤
