I recommend Dr Sathu as highly as possible. Firstly He is very kind and considerate, very personable and explains everything clearly and in a way that is easy to understand, this alone puts him far above other surgeons I have encountered. He has performed 3 surgeries on my knees and my foot and this was all done quickly, expertly and with outstanding results. Dr Sathu has an amazing bedside manner and is a brilliant surgeon. Can’t recommend him highly enough. He was able to reconstruct my ankle following a rupture to 2 ligaments, cartilage damage and a fracture. Dr Sathu has helped me return to sport with no concerns.

This man absolutely changed my life. 40 year old female with severe osteo as ex military. He took the risk and helped me immensely and life is looking so much better. He has a great team around him especially the nurses and his anaesthetist spent lots of time with me to ensure the best outcome for me. Highly recommend everyone look at this surgeon as he listens, understands and also ensures success. If he doesn’t have to operate he won’t, but if it’s the only option, then he makes sure you are fully ready prior to surgery.

I had a complete tear of the ATFL and partial tear of CLF, Dr Sathu has done an incredible job stabilising my ankle and no longer feels as if it is going to re-roll. Absolution outstanding job and scaring is minimal at 12 weeks post-op.

Following an injury sustained during a Netball match, Dr Sathu performed a Ligament reconstruction to my right ankle. In follow up reviews of this surgery, Dr Sathu identified issues from older injuries in my other ankle, proceeding to perform further surgery to correct my left ankle.

Dr Sathu took time to explain in great detail the extent of my injuries, using MRI images and skeletal models to illustrate the damage and intended outcome of the surgeries. The reception and support staff at Fourth Floor surgery are very friendly and went above and beyond to address any queries or concerns I raised.

He is a fantastic and attentive surgeon who I have had no hesitation in recommending very highly.

Dr. Sathu is the most dedicated and professional doctor I have ever met in Australia and even in my country. I lost my trust in the doctors in Australia because I have had so many problems with them. One even asked me how he can help me!
But dr Sathu has so much patience, he does listens, willing to help you. He takes care of his patients always. He makes you to trust in his knowledge and that is so important for a person who is confused and worried about his medical condition. I totally recommend him. Dr Sathu repaired a longitudinal tendon tear in my right foot 3 yrs ago and I’ve had no problems with my foot since, and the scar is now hard to find. I had a left foot tendon repair & Morton Neuroma removed - worse than other foot done in July this year. I can’t say enough good words to express how great a job he’s done on both my feet. I was under Dr Sathu's care for 1.5 years as I required several operations to repair a very serious ankle injury. He took great care in ensuring I understood the complexity of my injury and what the surgical interventions would involve. He has a very friendly manner and always took the time to answer my many questions and reassure me when I was concerned about my recovery.

Dr Sathu is a tremendous doctor. My first comment I make about him is that he is a thorough gentleman. He is patient, courteous, on time and goes to great lengths in explaining the medical problems you have and what he can do to resolve them.
As far as his ability as a surgeon, well that’s even better. I was referred to him at the Mater because the Greenslopes hospital didn’t have the necessary surgeon to perform the operation on my foot. The original X-ray revealed there were smashed bones everywhere.
I know there is a saying in the medical profession that “it’s hard to make chicken soup out of chicken sh1t “. Well however Dr Sathu got all my bones mended and looking exactly like my other foot is beyond me - it’s better than chicken soup - more like a chicken delicacy.
Now, unlike other surgeons who don’t care much about you after the operation, Dr Sathu is just brilliant. He really cares about you, checks in regularly and just treats you like a friend.
I can’t recommend Dr Sathu any higher,.
He is simply the best and so too are all his staff.

I cannot recommend or thank Dr Sathu and the team of professionals enough for my two surgeries of a Lisfranc Fracture in my foot. Over the past 5months, his support, professionalism and knowledge has been second to none. Hello, 20.11.2020 I have had Dr Sathu replace my right hip and left knee all within 12 months and could not fault any of the surgery staff or follow ups. I could go back to normal life after 6 weeks of knee surgery and 10 weeks hip surgery. I lead a very active life riding horses and I'm 60 years young with grandchildren that also keep me on my toes.

The best Dr that I have seen so far - While two other specialist couldn't identify and resolve my problem with my ankle, he picked it up in the first go. Surgery went well, recovery was quick and now my ankle is as good as how it was prior to the injury.
