I wish to pass on my thanks to Doctor Robinson and Staff. It is now one year on from Dr Robinson re-attaching and fixing a massive shoulder injury .. 2 fully torn shoulder muscles plus a third partial torn I think ... I compare my experience to others I have talked to since who have had similar shoulder injuries. I have little scarring and my range of motion and strength has almost returned to normal. Post care and rehab went well. Certainly recommend Dr Robinson and his staff. Regards Dan

I'm so greatful for the support and clear guidance Dr Robinson gave me. He was very charming to talk to. I was feeling very flustered from a doctors previous diagnosis and Dr Mark Robinson put my mind at ease. Im very grateful for this. He is a very experienced doctor and I found him very caring and look forward to his next review.

My story..

Ive had a work injury 8 odd months ago in my shoulder - bursitis, and had been told by another doctor that my injury was a tendon tear and was due to age. There would be nothing he could do to help, and this wasn't part of my work injury and id have to leave my job. Workcover wouldn't cover me, now considered as an out of work place injury.

I decided to get a second opinion. I went to see Dr Mark Robinson. He made me feel like I was a 21yr old, I am 50. He said he can help with an operation and physio would help. Dr Robinson explained my injury fully to me, he said this injury is due to my work injury 8 months ago. Its in the same spot as the bursitis, its not a tear but more of a fibre split.

Just when I thought my working career was over. Thank you Dr Mark Robinson.

Brigid.

I have been seeing Dr Robinson for more than 15 years. During that time he has performed basal thumb fusions (both hands) and surgery on both shoulders - one in 2016 and the most recent a week ago (Jan 28, 2021). I have absolute faith in his knowledge and experience and highly recommend him.

I visited Dr Robinson for the first time yesterday, I found him polite and personable and quite down to earth. He was through and professional. He instigated a investigation that should of been done 6 months ago by another surgeon and said he would withhold his opinion until the result was obtained, at last someone I can place some trust in.

Dr Robinson operated on my shoulder, found him to be very professional, has a lovely sense of humor. Very helpful with how to cope with pain, and how to position my arm for comfort after surgery.

I have had Dr Robinson place a plate in my shoulder back in 2013. I returned to see him with my hand having my thumb operated on. My husband now also sees him for his shoulders. I would reconvened Dr Robinson to anybody requiring an upper limb specialist.

Mark is an outstanding surgeon. I broke my wrist in a skateboarding accident and he pieced a difficult break back together and left a very fine scar. I have no hesitation of recommending Dr Robinson for orthopedics.

Dr Robinson is a skilled and experienced upper limb specialist, who was able to remove the neuroma within my ulnar nerve, whilst persevering my nerve functions.

At time of booking appointment I advised I had already had a CT scan through the public hospital system. I asked if I needed to provide authorisation for them to obtain the scans and was told I didn't and that Dr Robinson had access to the scans and would have them at my appointment. He didn't and as such was unable to provide advice without the scan. He sent me for another CT at my expense which I had to do later as local radiologists were closed/heavily booked at the time. I requested a partial refund for my examination due to not actually being able to be assessed properly without scans however was refused. After Dr Robinson received the results of the CT a further MRI was requested. I had also had MRI done through the public hospital system and requested that that be obtained rather than me paying again for a scan which had already occurred. A week later I contacted them again as I still hasn't heard from Dr Robinson (only takes a couple of days to get scans from hospital). 4 days after that I was advised they were still waiting on the scans from the hospital. Over 2 month's later I still haven't heard from him and have not been provided with a refund.

In response to "Response from the owner":

This practice appears to be much more interested in your money than your health. Kimberly has indicated that Dr Robinson was expecting to review me with the results. I was advised he would contact me to make an appointment when the imaging come through. As mentioned earlier I even chased them up when it has been longer than they said it would take for the scans to come in. They still never got back to me to arrange an appointment. Neither have they have made an attempt to contract me after writing this review, instead choosing to just write an online response in order to make themselves appear reasonable. It's not my fault that a new staff member made a mistake which resulted in Dr Robinson being unable to properly review me. It was their mistake and a reasonable practice would refund the charge for that appointment accordingly. This is NOT a reasonable practice.

My partner saw Mark for a shoulder injury through work cover and if it had been under other circumstances we would not have seen him. Extremely rude receptionist. You will be waiting for over an hour to be seen for 10 minutes. Horrible service and a gentlemen who had a booking 15 minutes after us went in before us. Asked my partner to get yet another steroid injection despite receiving no relief the first time which offered no relief yet again and booked a follow up a month later. Clearly terrible record keeping. Would not recommend.
