Thank you to the amazing staff doing a fabulous job with the Covid testing at Bowen Hills today. From the lady with paperwork who greets you in your car, to the practitioners who do the testing, your patience and kindness in such trying, busy times, is simply incredible. You are all legends!

Parking definatly a problem. I got the run around from different collection points that could not do the required test before eventually getting on the phone and after several transfers I found someone to talk to at Bowen Hills. The reception guys where great and very helpful. They even told me that in the future just go to the visitor parking barriers and use the intercom for parking. Other staff where not as pleasant.

No issue with test itself but cost and billing.

The Medicare payment for the test I had done is ~$50, QML does this test with no gap.

SNP sent me an invoice of nearly $200, initially sent to a previous address I haven't lived at for a year, giving sensitive information about my medical affairs to whoever lives there now.

The cost isn't what I originally was told it would cost and I can't see why it should be 4x medicare when other pathology labs do it with no gap

Definitely a cheat and trying to shell out money using an proven method (called 'Lying').
Analysis that can be done for AUD55 in QML costed me AUD192.30.
- earlier quoted AUD150 at counter.
- They never mentioned anything about pricing over the phone.
- Medicare charge will be included in costing, which they told it will not. So more overhead.
- Results have lots of conditional statements as if they are not sure on outcome and want you to redo the test.

Will never use their service.
Almost 4 times costly.
Lots of mis-information and no Parking at facility.

Thought of posting here so that other reading this review can be spared of feeling cheated.

Why do Sullivan Nicollaides refuse to put my pathology results in My Health record ;
QML does as part of the service.
I think they Sullivan Nicollaides are just Lazy .
ill never use Sullivan Nicollaides again and use QML as they are putting results to Myhealth record as a general practice ,without me calling tonask

On 2nd of January I paid $390 online to have 2 covid test which were to be done on the 28th of January for our overseas trip. On 12 of January they sent me an email that said "we can't offer the service to you at this time and are offering you a refund for your order" and the refund was said to take 7 to 10 business days. It's now 1st of February and I still have not received the refund despite several phone calls and emails. I think this is shameful to hold my money for so long. Fair enough they couldn't do the test but not to refund me and me having to chase this up while overseas for my sons wedding is unforgivable.

Was told that this is the only place in Brisbane to get a seminal analysis done. That's a lie. I could have stayed in my area. Was not informed of cost despite asking directly on the phone yesterday.
The "facilities" if you need to collect on site, are just the toilets the staff use. You can hear everything going on in the lab and rooms behind the toilet so it's obvious they can hear you. A humiliating and embarrassing environment.
Was not told there is zero available parking and you need to park a 20 minute walk away. Terrible place. Terrible service. Use a different pathology lab.

I arrived at the Bowen Hills location thinking it was a contact point for specimen collection. The receptionist indicated to her headset that she was on the phone to which I pleasantly acknowledged. After a couple of phone calls received she was clearly interested in pursuing a personal conversation with the latest recipient and gruffly informed me that she had a "lot more phone calls to get through so what did I want?". I asked if it was a collection point and she replied no and what was the specimen being collected. After I said what it was she asked if I had brought it with me! Confused, I then had to ask her if she could inform me of any other collection centres to which she just stated that they were closed. I was so taken aback by her rude response and the perceived inconvenience of my presence. Most of all her appalling customer service skills instantly devalued my perception of this business and its services. Be aware of this badly behaved person and what she clearly demonstrated was an unhappy employee. If only I could have chosen 0 stars....

International students will be charged for Covid test hours after the test has been done, as if we are able to say no thanks I'll go to get tested somewhere else. More than 24hr to get the results and weeks to get copy of the receipt to TRY to make the claim. OSHC doesn't cover the 100% of the test, go to the fever clinic.
