I wanted to say a huge thank you to the lovely lady that took my blood earlier today. I have difficult veins and sometimes collectors have trouble but Deb you were brilliant. Made me feel at ease and collection was painless. Thank you again I will return.

Honestly I don’t know why this place gets 2.7 star rating. I get nervous about blood tests because I can be difficult to get blood out of and don’t enjoy getting stabbed multiple times.
I read the reviews but it was Sunday and the other place open was overcrowded so I decided to take a chance.
The lady there was one of the kindest humans I have met. She made me feel comfortable, calm and even made me laugh.
She’s obviously a proud grandmother and I just wonder if some of them bad reviews are maybe a cultural misunderstanding because she’s foreign?
Regardless I’d give her 10 stars if I could because she also got the blood out first go!

Blood tests suck but Deb makes it a fun experience. Gentle and experienced with a great attitude.

Phlebotomist was very kind

Inconsistent hours. Highly advise phoning head first because twice now i've showed up and they are closed. They are not open on Sat despite what's advertised online.

Don't go there if you want to be in and out. I was the first one in the waiting area and yet, I had to wait about 30mins. The pathologist couldn't stop talking with the patient who was in (talking about her age and her life story). Will NEVER go there again. She is not mindful of the other patients in the waiting room.

The staff at the center were very rude, and it felt like she was unloading all her personal problems onto me. The way she spoke to me while explaining the process was disrespectful and unprofessional.

Feeling belittled and unwelcome, I have no intention of returning to this center for any future appointments

It's hard not to be rude after going in this Pathology place for the first time. I had to hear "are you following me?" for question why should i present the referral form on 2 different days, while she already took an adhesive slip from it when i got the collection jar and didnt ask me to present it again during drop off. She loudly complained for a good 5 minutes, that I should know her process and it wasn't her fault, while i just wanted (and asked) to just move on. At the end of the day, she filled a form in 1-2minutes, but the whole thing was just sheer unprofessional.
The other reviews are pretty accurate on what to expext. Unfortunately. The doctors in the attached clinic are quite friendly though.

I had 2 people in front of me that took 25 mins all up. The staff member was a middle aged lady and she complained about filling out the form the entire time, even while administering the needle, which I’ve never had anyone do before. It seemed unprofessional and honestly made me nervous that she was busy complaining while jabbing a needle in me. When I grimaced at the pain and said ouch, she mocked me and told me to toughen up and get over it…She went on for a bit... The pain I felt after was unusual and painful, I struggled to use it while driving home. If you’re anxious about needles or are in a hurry, I wouldn’t go here.

Used to be great with caring and considerate staff. On my latest visit I indicated I was feeling light headed and was told to “suck it up princess”. I walked out as the banter continued and complaints about having to fill out a form. I see from other reviews (re middle aged lady nurse) that this seems to be the norm now.

The nurse named Deb was absolutely awful so rude and patronising. The most awful behaviour I have ever experienced in healthcare. I am surprised someone like this is allowed to work with patients.

Very rude nurse named 'Deb' was unprofessional, unkind and was incompetent. She failed to provide any level of reasonable patient care, was very unorganised and made fun of patients in the presence of others.

Horrid service and slow invoice processing.

I got told off for the reception staff misspelling my surname when I was asked to double-check it. I was also told that "the Asians who come in don't understand English and will only nod when asked about pre-existing conditions."

Struggled to have the invoice sent to me for weeks.

The nurse was extremely rude and impatient. Did not want to fill out any forms. Didn’t care that I was squeamish or feinted with needles. Will never be returning here.
